Happy Friday! I had a whirlwind trip to Paris last week and then a few days at home to play catch up on work and life items while squeezing in some time with friends and family and some (much needed) workouts. Today I am en route to a brand new place in the world for my 40 in 40 list! It’s quite out of my comfort zone and I’m excited to share more about this trip very soon.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend and enjoy this week’s edit!
The Weekly Edit 4.24.26
WHAT I DID THIS WEEK:
- As mentioned last week I squeezed in a work trip to Paris for 72 hours and it was so fulfilling! I almost had cancelled it and am so glad I went through with it as the weather was divine. This impromptu moment was a highlight.
- Relied on this delightful beverage all week long to help with my I-have-so-much-to-do anxiety.
READ + LOOK + LOVE:
- Flying Air France’s new La Premiere.
- New restaurants to consider in NYC.
- Bookmarking this Italian Chopped Salad to make in the future.
- The best airport hotels.
- Baking recipes without refined sugar.
- Save this spot in Paris for your next trip for a great souvenir.
- Gap x Victoria Beckham? Yes, please!
- 30 strawberry recipes to consider this spring.
- A very good read on SPF from a long-time beauty editor.
SHOP AND LOOK LOVINGLY:
- These new trousers from Vuori look perfect for travel days.
- I swear by Simone Perele bras. They are $$$ but the best (as someone with an F cup who has tried a million brands – I am so loyal to this brand after their styles have done right by me the last decade). They rarely discount but right now are offering 20% off orders over $100 (essentially one bra!) Use code APRILEVENT – their t-shirt bras are the best- this one, this one, this one and this one are my most worn. And this is the ONLY strapless bra I wear. I’ve sworn by it for over six years now.
- Ann Taylor has some great new arrivals. Favorites I spotted include this shirt dress and this dress, this blazer, this gingham midi and this dress that would be perfect for any spring/summer bridal or baby showers.
- Lake is now offering embroidery on a variety of their styles. Would make for such a sweet gift! They also just launched a bunch of “daywear” and the collection is definitely worth browsing. And if you need any Mother’s Day gifts, they have a lot of great options in their Mother’s Day Shop.
- Love the scallop detail on this linen dress. And this eyelet dress is darling, too!
- I saw French women wearing this jacket every single day I was in Paris last week. It looked so good!
- This isn’t a brand I usually shop but I saw this bag in-store in Paris last week and it is absolutely gorgeous. Added to my wish list for sure.
- My Shopbop Hearts are freshly updated! And don’t miss their dress selection at the moment – I own this dress (size L) from two summers ago and the shape is so great on it and it’s easy to dress up or down, I just got this mini (size M) in white but I think the red is so fun, and also loving the looks of this one, this one and this one.
- This is an incredibly chic take on the anorak for the season.
- This bag is gorgeous and I love both the caramel and ivory colorways. At a lesser price point, I personally just added this bag to my collection in the black. The quality is beautiful for the price! And specifically for summertime, this J.Crew bucket bag looks so good.
- Well if this sweater isn’t just a ray of sunshine for this season! I personally have it in navy/white and recommend sizing up.
- What a cute eyelet shirt dress.
- Wow, wow, wow…the Loewe bags right now. So fun.
- Just added these great J.Crew linen pull on pants to my summer wardrobe. They are running 30% off right now when you’re logged into your loyalty account and these shorts are so cute as are, the blazer I just wore in Paris is included (size 10), this dress is so cute, this is a great shirt dress, this skirt would be a good versatile piece to style and I ordered this swimsuit and this dress in white.
- Loving this dress and this dress from Hill House’s latest drop.
- La Bonne Brosse is once again engraving brushes and I think it would make such a lovely mother’s day gift! I’ve given one to my BFF in the past and she loves and I gave the children’s one to my goddaughter.
