The Weekly Edit

October 16, 2026

Happy Friday from London! It was a very, very busy week where I was slightly crushed by time zone differences working late most nights. We’ve had a lot of last minute trip requests and hotel booking requests for beloved En Route to Rêverie repeat clients who I always want to say yes to and of course I am full steam ahead on fall content in these parts. As such, I’ll be spending some of this week working but I’m also looking forward to catching up with a few friends, a pilates class and ensuring my step count is met both days with beautiful walks here in London.

I hope you enjoy this week’s edit and have a wonderful weekend!

WHAT I DID THIS WEEK:

  • I worked with my ads team to fix some issues with the ads running on my site as reported by a few of you. I wasn’t aware they had added in more units and there was a refresh issue that was affecting the experience reading posts so thank you to those of you who flagged it to me! We were able to institute some changes that should make it a far better experience to read posts on the site moving forward (despite all of us knowing ads are often inherently annoying!)
  • I shared on Instagram everything I do to prepare to be on the road for a month.
  • I’m doing a lot of market research for En Route to Rêverie while here in London so this week I had four meetings with hotels – two of which included hard hat tours of properties about to open. It was my first time doing this and it was so cool to see the behind the scenes. I am such a hotel nerd nowadays and love the operational side of them so it was really special to do this.

NOTEWORTHY FINDS:

  • Ruti just launched F&F offering 20% off! These pants are my latest favorite find from the brand (I wear a size 8) – so good for travel days. And then of course there’s the viral On the Loose pants everyone loves (also wear a size 8 in those) and these trousers I also own and like for travel days.
  • Loeffler Randall makes some of my most-worn boots and right now they are doing their F&F sale with up to 30% off a  selection. My long time favorite Isla boots are included!
  • And in more F&F news, Brooklinen is also running 20% off! I’ve been loyal to their bedding for over a decade. You can shop all my favorites in my post How I Made My Bed Feel Like a Hotel Bed.
  • M.M.Lafleur just introduced a wonderful sounding fabric called OrigamiPlush – they are billing it as soft as a sweater, sharp as a suit, impeccably polished and so luxurious it practically hugs you back. Sounds genius right!? One better – and because it is M.M. – the pieces are also machine-washable! Also from their newest October arrivals, you better believe I ordered this jacket immediately.  (Reminder that code WIT&WHIMSY20 gets you 20% off your first M.M. order!)
  • The Ekster vacuum bags I’ve come to rely on are marked down right now and my code Meghan10 stacks with the discount!
  • Ooo AYR introduced a new jean! (See my favorite pairs to date in my AYR Denim Review).
  • A Chanel inspired flat from Steve Madden.
  • So many good Sezane coats, so little time!! This one is in my cart.
  • If you’re looking for a striped tee in some unexpected colors: look no further.
  • Supreme coziness has entered the chat with this Varley fleece.
  • These are the affordable sneakers I’ve been seeing girls all over London wear this week. (I have them in black back at home but now may need another color! Kinda loving these…)
  • In other footwear news, I love my newest Margaux boots. They are so comfortable, took no breaking in and I walked 10,000 steps in them. The dark chocolate color is so unique that it pairs so well with browns and blacks.
  • Panic ordered these socks just before leaving and happy to report they were an excellent Amazon order and perfect for boot season.
  • I own an embarrassing amount of pajamas but I always know I have favorites because its the pairs I choose to bring when traveling. This time I brought a bunch of Negative Whipped pieces to mix and match based on my sleeping environment throughout the month. This tee, these pants, these shorts + this long sleeve tee all made it into my suitcase. They are light as air, so soft and cozy and just the comfiest for sleep.
  • There’s some newness over on my LTK page if you want to see some of my latest outfits.
