Happy Friday from Provence! I am beyond thrilled to be back in one of my very favorite places in France. My friend Briony and I arrived the other day and are settling into country living in a country where we have a true mutual love and appreciation. I am so looking forward to a relaxing additional few days here while exploring new-to-me and old favorite villages while also trying out two bucket list hotels.
I hope you enjoy this week’s edit and have a wonderful weekend!
The Weekly Edit 6.2
WHAT I DID THIS WEEK:
- Arrived in France following an amazing week in the UK! Are you enjoying following along on my adventures? I can’t believe I have another two weeks overseas.
- I tore through this book. The perfect summer read. I was excited to discover it as this book by the same author was one of my favorite books of last year.
READ + LOOK + LOVE:
- 15 of London’s best hotels. (I can book these for you with some added perks when you become a London, Perfected client!)
- Beautiful places to visit in the South of France.
- A new exhibit in Paris to bookmark for your upcoming trip. (For Paris, Perfected clients I always provide what Noteworthy exhibits are happening in Paris during the time of your visit!)
- Walking tours in NYC to consider.
- Post graduation advice you’ll actually use.
- He makes the best baguette in Paris, but he’s not from France.
- How to talk to people – a new podcast from The Atlantic – sounds interesting!
- 10 great baguettes to try in Paris.
SHOP AND LOOK LONGINGLY:
- The other day I got a DM asking about the strapless bra I’m wearing while traveling. This is the one I swear by. I own it in three color ways and it is the only underwire, supportive one I have found and relied on in the last 5+ years. I can’t recommend it enough. Worth the price tag – no regrets at all.
- I’ve also been adding the outfits I’ve been wearing in Europe HERE with sizing details.
- The La Ligne newness is so good. My favorites include this dress, this dress, this sweater, this dress, these jeans and this knit tank.
- Sweaty Betty has a bunch of good new arrivals, too. I’ve always loved what I’ve bought from them – including this sweatshirt. I had no idea they were now making so many daytime clothes. I am loving this dress, this dress, this swimsuit, this sports bra, this tee and this sports bra, this linen button down, these knit shorts (so chic!) and matching sweater.
- I adore the pretty woman vibes of this polka dot dress. (I would size up in this!)
- I have been slathering this EltaMD Recovery Mask on my face at night to help repair post-retinol skin. It was designed to work overnight to strengthen the skin barrier, visibly reduce redness, improve hydration, and give skin a well-rested, radiant glow. My skin drinks this stuff up!
- I just added this basic tank to my Amazon cart to have as a layering piece and to pair with trousers. I bought the L as I find The Drop tops to run small personally. Also considering these pants from the same line.
- Speaking of The Drop, I am so into knit tanks this season. This one and this one look like Reformation but are a fraction of the price.
- And while shopping Amazon Fashion don’t miss one of my most worn dresses of every summer. It’s fully restocked! I have it in a L in two colors.
- AYR is one of my go-to brands to shop at for summer and their new arrivals are so good. I love this dress, these shorts, these pants, this linen button down and this tee.
- Also Ann Taylor has some great new arrivals. My personal favorites include this dress, this dress, this dress, these pants, this jacket and this dress.
- I always love seeing what products you guys buy when I run my monthly analytics – so many of my personal favorite pieces made the May Bestsellers which you can see + shop here and here.
