Happy Friday! The highlight of this week was of course my event at Sézane where I loved meeting those of you that came and shopping their current collection together! It is always so special to meet my community IRL and I am so grateful to those of you who came out.
This is my last weekend in New York for a bit so I spent this week largely preparing to be out of office. I have a lot of posts teed up for while I am gone that I hope you guys will enjoy! I’ll be sharing my trip agenda with those on my En Route to Rêverie newsletter next week as I always do before my trips overseas.
To be honest, the last few weeks have served as the loveliest reset. I’ve cooked and I’ve baked I’ve enjoyed long walks and dinners with friends. I’ve caught up on my inboxes and started and finished new books. I’ve done spring cleaning and worked out regularly. I’ve cared for myself. After such an intense and chaotic start to 2024, I feel renewed after the last couple of weeks and full of gratitude. It feels really, really nice
I hope you enjoy this week’s edit and have a wonderful weekend!
The Weekly Edit 4.26
WHAT I DID THIS WEEK:
- I had the best time meeting those of you who came out to my Sézane event this week! These events are always a bit intimidating for me to do and then I am so overwhelmed in the best way about just how wonderful this community is! A big thank you to Sézane for making the event possible. Here is what I wore to the event if you want to shop my look!
- I had such a fun time working on this video for GAP. They have loads to love for Spring and I shared a variety of my favorites and everything I wore in the video from GAP here.
- I read and loved both Yours Truly and How to End a Love Story. Great romantic comedy books with likable characters and real life themes. Both have been added to my Amazon For Your Bookshelf recommendations.
READ + LOOK + LOVE:
- The 100 best new hotels of the year. I always love reading this list!
- Unexpected ways to stop procrastinating.
- A New Yorker’s guide to people watching. It never gets old!
- How to push back against burnout.
- A new store in the West Village to bookmark.
- How Taylor Swift won back the public.
- 8 of the best bagels in NYC. I personally love Pop Up Bagels so, so much.
SHOP AND LOOK LOVINGLY:
- Banana Republic restocked my poplin midi skirt you saw me wear here. It’s such a fun ladylike piece. I wear a size 6. Also loving this skirt I spotted on their site.
- One of my favorite bags is now majorly marked down! The most fun evening bag.
- The dress I wore HERE. It is just so, so good. One of those beautifully made dresses you just feel so good donning. I can’t wait to wear it all summer long. Shop it HERE with size guidance. (What an absolute privilege it has been to continue working with Saks – you guys shopping via my links at Saks has made it possible and I am endlessly grateful!) And I also got this dress from Saks (size 8) and it is part of their Spring sale so it is discounted at the moment!
- In love with this new little J.Crew bag! Jacquemus vibes but for way less. This one from Anthropologie is also cute and under $100.
- Spotted a new neutral colorway of the Veja sneakers you’ve seen me wearing a lot lately. The perfect sporty-chic sneaker.
- Just did my annual re-stock of my favorite powder SPF for touchups. I don’t go anywhere without this in Spring and Summer.
- My favorite ever hair brush was in need of a really good clean so I bought this brush cleaner and omg. It was horrifying and satisfying all at once. I can’t recommend using this to clean your brushes enough!
- Revolve’s curation of A European Escape has so many cute styles! It led me to add a lot of finds I loved from Revolve to the Spring-Summer Shop.
- Osea is my favorite body care brand by far and always makes a great gift. They have some lovely sets for Mother’s Day right now that I would recommend and you can use code WITWHIMSY10 to score 10% off your purchase! You can read about my favorites in my Osea Malibu Review.
- J.Crew has so, so many good dresses right now and a lot of their beautiful linen pieces are up to 50% off! And if you don’t yet have my very favorite trousers (more on them HERE), grab them while nearly half off! I wear a size 8.
- This cutie Longchamp a part of my collection is back in stock for the season!
