Palais Royal Gardens

Despite being a short week, it felt like a marathon. I was very over-scheduled but for good reason! A dear friend of mine came to stay with me for part of the week and it was so good to catch up. We had the best meal at Rucola which remains one of my all time favorites in Brooklyn and you’ll find it in my NYC guide which I am currently working on revamping to relaunch later this summer. I also had a variety of other dinners and lunches with friends and acquaintances this week that had me chasing time in front of my computer to catch up on work.

But last weekend, my Memorial Day Weekend, it really filled my cup. I have been back in NYC for two weeks and it’s been filled with catching up with friends, cooking and baking, lots of reading and enjoying some of my favorite spots around the neighborhood and beyond. It’s hard to believe tomorrow kicks off June, right?

Next week I’ll be taking a quick trip to one of my favorite places and I’ll be sharing my summer plans exclusively with those of you on my newsletter list

I hope you enjoy this week’s edit and have a wonderful weekend!
