Despite being a short week, it felt like a marathon. I was very over-scheduled but for good reason! A dear friend of mine came to stay with me for part of the week and it was so good to catch up. We had the best meal at Rucola which remains one of my all time favorites in Brooklyn and you’ll find it in my NYC guide which I am currently working on revamping to relaunch later this summer. I also had a variety of other dinners and lunches with friends and acquaintances this week that had me chasing time in front of my computer to catch up on work.
Next week I’ll be taking a quick trip to one of my favorite places and I’ll be sharing my summer plans exclusively with those of you on my newsletter list.
I hope you enjoy this week’s edit and have a wonderful weekend!
The Weekly Edit 5.31
WHAT I DID THIS WEEK:
- I made my favorite summer dessert, Ina Garten’s Strawberry Rhubarb Crisp. I half the fruit and do the full crumb topping and every time it is so, so good.
- I devoured Carley Fortune’s newest book This Summer Will Be Different. I loved it as much as I have loved her other books and I kept thinking about the characters for days after. It is a book I am already considering re-reading.
- I was so honored when Caudalie asked me to be a part of the launch of their first U.S. SPF. They indicated they know how important sun safety is to me and my platform and I was so happy with how much I loved this new sunscreen.

SHOP AND LOOK LOVINGLY:
- Abercrombie has some great new arrivals I spotted including these satin pants, this linen mini and this one, too, this knit dress, these athleisure shorts and this versatile dress.
- I was so excited to work with J.Crew for their summer collection launch and one of the dresses I loved so much when I first saw it I had to get it in two colors! I shared all my collection favorites over HERE for you guys to browse and shop!
- This summery bag I own and always get asked about is finally restocked!
- This new polka dot La Ligne slip dress has my name all over it. I would size up in it and you can use code MEGHAND10 for 10% off your first order.
- One of you emailed me that you bought this affordable lady jacket on Amazon and were super happy with it so wanted to share with you more broadly!
- Reformation’s latest arrivals are so good. I am loving this dress and this dress, this sequin number is SO fun and would be perfect for a bachelorette party this summer, this darling linen set, this dress I just ordered, this pretty top, these jeans and this dress I just ordered.
- This Narguile Diptyque candle is my new obsession. I happened upon it at Duty Free and haven’t stopped burning it since. It’s so unique and yet comforting smelling and perfect for this time of year I think. There’s a hint of honey, tobacco leaves and a handful of spices that make this warm, fruity and spicy all in one.
- I adore this beautiful and well priced midi dress from French Connection. This one is beautiful, too!
- These are a great wrap sandal at a great price if you’re in the market.
