Happy Friday! It’s been a very rainy, gloomy week in New York which ended up propelling my productivity in advance of a trip I am taking this week. 

A big thank you to everyone who shared enthusiasm on the behemoth of a post that was publishing an updated guide to My Holy Grail Beauty Products. I’m excited for you guys to bookmark it. And I’ll also be adding in a few more honorable mentions moving forward, too.

The Weekly Edit 8.9

WHAT I DID THIS WEEK:

• I made this carrot banana bread with cream cheese frosting and it was so good! I also made this Corn Pesto Pasta at the recommendation of a friend and it was wonderful. Highly recommend if you, too love summer corn season.
• I announced my next event with M.M.LaFleur and it is all about welcoming Fall (but with ice cream because all events are better with ice cream!) Spots went within hours (!!) but we do have the ability to create a waitlist so you can email the brand if interested in attending should spots open up.

• Apologies if you had an issue shopping the Dermstore sale post I published yesterday first thing. I found out while trying to shop it myself that they pushed their sale to today so *now* you can actually shop it using code CHEERS.
• If you’ve been eyeing a pair of Jenni Kayne shoes now is the time to grab them! They just launched a 20% off shoe sale. This pair is on my personal wish list. And Sarah Flint is doing $200 off their flats! The Natalie is my favorite style they make.
• Right around this time every year Net a Porter gets me so, so ready for Fall. I spotted so many beautiful pieces in their new arrivals that I added to my wish list including this timeless bag, this stunning floral dress, this beautiful clutch, these sneakers, this sweater (I own it in another colorway and sized up to a L), this chic belt and these beautiful new embossed take on my favorite Manolo mules.
• Speaking of Manolo Blahnik, this striking pair is 40% off!
• YES to these Voting is in Style sweatshirts!
• Loving the look of Ann Taylor’s new blazer. 
• Can’t stop singing the praises of this super comfortable yet supportive Lululemon sports bra. Bought one then bought two more.
• Nike is doing a Back to School sale with 25% off loads of styles. I love this sneaker, I own this pair in black and white (really comfy!) and these sneakers. And these leggings are great. This pair looks great, too.
• And in other sneaker news, if you’re a New Balance gal, Anthro just released loads more colorways. 
• Dôen’s Pre-Fall arrivals are full of gorgeous floral fabrics. I am eyeing several pieces! I always, always size up in this brand.
• Ba&sh Paris makes some of the most special investment pieces in my wardrobe and their new arrivals look beautiful. This dress, this new chocolate brown color of their iconic cardigan (size up for sure), this dress, this cool trench, this dress that would look great with suede booties, this beautiful lace blouse and this fun party dress are all great. I always size up in this brand.
• Given how much I have loved much of the Victoria Beckham Beauty line, I ran to try the new Posh Balm she just released. I used it as an excuse to re-up on my favorite Lip Definer and Posh Gloss, too.
• Sezane’s newest arrivals included restocks of some of my favorite pieces including this sweater jacket I own in several colors (sized up to a L), my go-to navy blazer (own the size 6), the essential Christie blazer (I own the size 8) and the beautiful Barry cardigan you can wear frontwards or backwards (I own the M). I personally just ordered this trench coat (I am exchanging the 6 for a 4 as it runs quite big) and I already got this jacket (size 6) and love it.
• Spotted one of my most-used bags of summer now on sale at Madewell!
