Victoria Beckham Beauty Review

My intrigue with the Victoria Beckham beauty line started after I heard someone rave about her Posh Blush. So on a research trip to London for my travel advisory, I popped into her Mayfair store and picked it up. I absolutely loved it. Next came getting some of her lip products and then I decided to test out nearly the entire line to do a full review as I love to do.

Of course celebrity beauty lines are nothing new. And they can easily be lackluster but when I saw Violet Grey was carrying the line I knew it must be pretty good. And I have to say – I am super impressed with what Posh Spice has unveiled in recent years.

Victoria Beckham Beauty Review

Spice Girl turned fashion designer Victoria Beckham co-created the line with Sarah Creal. They wanted to create a luxe clean beauty brand that was high performance, sustainable, transparent and inspired by Victoria Beckham’s own beauty regimen. The line adheres to EU clean beauty standards and features unique formulations with super chic packaging. The beauty products in the line feature some great winners and a few I thought were misses. Today I am sharing my honest review of the products in the line I have tried.

Victoria Beckham Beauty Review

Formula

I found some of the formulas super unique and I think the brand does high pigmentation beautifully. A lot of the products lay down color so well and held up well to long wear.

Packaging

The packaging is very, very luxe. It’s beautiful and feels special. A few items are too heavy (the matte bronzer in particular) which would make them hard to travel with but otherwise I think the packaging is beautiful and feels unique.

Several of the products are refillable which I appreciate.

Ingredients

The Victoria Beckham Beauty line adheres to EU standards and doesn’t use any of the 1,300 banned ingredients in Europe. The line is free from bad-for-you ingredients like petroleum, parabens coal derived waxes, PEG’s, and synthetic fragrances. Victoria Beckham Beauty is also cruelty-free, vegan, gluten-free and soy-free.

Shades

The shades are minimal for the products included and should the brand come out with a concealer or base product I’ll be really curious to see how many shades they offer.

Price

The packaging is no doubt a part of what you’re paying for for this line which ranges in price from $28 to $210 for one of the skincare items.

Matte Bronzing Brick

I nearly didn’t buy the Victoria Beckham Beauty Matte Bronzing Brick but I am so glad I did. I was really impressed with it! It gives a warm, sunkissed radiance to the skin and has a soft matte finish. I love that it comes with two shades and doesn’t leave any white cast thanks to it being talc-free.

I apply it with a big powder brush for all over color and then you could also use the darker shade to give a bit of contouring structure to the face.

It comes in five shades and I got the lightest shade 01. The compact is plastic-free and refillable.

Instant Brightening Waterline Pencil

If you’re looking to brighten and open up your eye, a white pencil on the waterline can do wonders. This one I found to be good at laying down product without any tugging or irritation. It was designed to neutralize redness and stay on for up to eight hours.

It was dermatologist and ophthalmologist-tested and is safe for contact lens wearers while also being vegan, gluten-free and soy-free.

Bitten Lip Tint

This is a cool lip tint that really gives a cool-girl stain to lips. It gives a sheer, buildable flush of color while being moisturizing. It was designed to be like a serum for your lips. The color isn’t dry, sticky or tight thanks to the inclusion of Hyaluronic acid and Squalane and has a great doe foot applicator for easy application.

Available in five shades. I have shade Bisou which is a berry shade.

Posh Lipstick

I love this bullet-sized lipstick that gives bold, buildable color and a really nice shine with loads of moisture. The color payoff is a buttery shine and lips feel super hydrated.

There are twelve shades and I have Pout which is a pale coral pink. I’ll definitely be collecting more shades in the future! The brand says that each shade of Posh Lipstick recalls one of Victoria Beckham’s personal memories.

Baby Blade

This is such a good brow pencil! It is the most precise one I think I have ever tested. It lays down highly pigmented color with exacting precision thanks to the tiny little blade. The formula is creamy and so it glides on easily to seamlessly fill in brows. I found my brows looked instantly more full and bold and it has great staying power, too.

It comes in six shades. I use shade Light Brown.

Meghan Makeup Victoria Beckham Beauty

Wearing above: Matte Bronzing Brick, Cheeky Posh, Lid Lustre + Eyewear Shadow Stick, Future Lash, Baby Blade, Lip Definer, Posh Lipstick and Posh Gloss.

Lid Lustre

The Lid Lustre is so good. It looks intimidating but is actually amazing to make your eyes look like you spent a lot of time on them without really having done so. I found it pretty foolproof and the colors are soft and pearly. They add a pretty brilliance to eyes without feeling *too much*.

There are ten shades available. I have shade Honey which is a medium golden bronze infused with gold pearl.

Eyewear Shadow Stick

I’m really loving eyeshadow sticks this year and I really like this one that is ultra-blendable (so easy to apply with your fingers!) and it doesn’t crease or smudge. You can really build it up if you’d like and it has a nice lightweight feel to it.

There are seven shades. I bought Caramel which is a shimmery Bronze and really pairs well with the Lid Lustre shadow. I am wearing both in the image above.

Future Lash Mascara

If you’re a fan of tubing mascaras, you’ll like the Victoria Beckham Beauty Future Lash Mascara. I found its lifting capabilities really good. Normally I am not a fan of mascaras with small brushes like this one but it really did a better job than I was expecting.

The formula is super-black and works to lengthen lashes while also conditioning them. I didn’t find any flaking and it is one of the easiest tubing mascaras to remove that I have ever tried. The brand calls it their water-activated Instant Removal Technology. The mascara instantly detaches from lashes as you cleanse your face. allows this mascara to seamlessly detach from lashes, transforming into tiny water-soluble filaments that gently rinse away.

They now just released another mascara called Vast Lash that I also want to try as the brush looks more like what I typically like in a mascara brush. It is marketed as a long-wearing mascara with a volumizing formula.

Satin Kajal Liner

I wanted to love the Victoria Beckham Beauty Satin Kajal Liner but sadly didn’t find it smudge proof as it promised. Rather, too much of it transferred to my lids leaving them looking messy despite using an eyelid primer. I much prefer the staying power of my beloved Bobbi Brown eyeliner.

It comes in 11 shades which is a fun shade range for an pencil liner. If you have drier eyelids and don’t find your eye makeup has trouble staying put, you may love these highly pigmented liners. There’s also a Kajal Satin Jewel liner if you want some sparkle. I have the Gold Lamé shade that’s fun for an night out but again I don’t find it has the staying, smudge proof power I want from my liners.

Contour Stylus

I wanted to really like this product but I think it is too narrow for regular contour use. It works great to contour your nose but if you’re trying to contour the rest of your face, I find it creates too harsh of lines.

It comes in four shades. I personally much prefer the Westman Atelier Contour Stick

Posh Gloss

I love this gloss! It’s cushiony and has a super high-shine. I found it really lasted on the lips and love the subtle plumping it gave alongside the mirror-like finish.

It comes in eight shades and I have shade Bikini which is a great dusty, cool pink.

Lip Definer

I love the color payoff on this pigmented liner. It lays down color without a lot of effort or tugging at the lips. I really love the creamy texture of it. And it definitely contributes to a fuller looking pout! It has Vitamin E to condition lips and is a waterproof formula for added wear.

It comes in seven shades and I have shade 03 which pairs really well with the Posh Gloss and Posh Lipstick shades I own. The three together is such a good lip.

Cheeky Posh Blush

The product that started me on the brand and remains a favorite years later: the Cheeky Posh Blush. It smooths skin and has a pretty matte finish to it. The buildable formula allows for everything from a barely-there, no-makeup makeup to a statement pop of color and it comes in a super chic bullet package.

The silicone-free colors are water-resistant and long-wearing. There are seven shades available and I have shade Major. I will likely buy another shade soon!

Reflect Highlighter Stick

This product was a total miss for me. It barely showed up on skin. I think the Westman Atelier Lit Up Highlight Stick is far superior in color payoff.

Augustinus Bader Rejuvenating Priming Moisturizer

Victoria Beckham was a big fan of the Augustinus Bader line so she joined forces with him to create two skincare products for her beauty line.

If you love Augustinus Bader’s cult-status moisturizers, you’ll love this one for priming before makeup. I really love how it preps skin and leaves it feeling hydrated and plump. It was designed to help repair skin and has loads of skin-loving ingredients like amino acids and avocado oil.

They also have a “Golden” version if you like a bit of shimmer and glow to your moisturizer.

Augustins Bader Cell Rejuvenating Power Serum

The two brands also collaborated on a serum that’s now on my list to test out. This serum is ultra-concentrated and was designed to help skin retain the moisture and nutrients it needs for peak performance. It is meant to deliver firmer, plumper skin with regular use.

Where To Buy Victoria Beckham Beauty Products

Given the luxury nature of the line and the price point, the brand is not yet widely distributed. You can currently shop it at the following retailers:

Violet Grey

Bergdorf Goodman

Net a Porter

Net a Porter actually has some exclusive sets like this one and this one, too if you’re keen to try a couple of products.

Have you tried Victoria Beckham Beauty yet? Next on my list to try is the Smoky Eye Brick Eyeshadow Palette. I’ve heard good things but my desired shade is always sold out. I also want to try the Augustinus Bader Cell Rejuvenating Power Serum.
