Coffee in Italy

Ciao, from Italy! I am in Florence at the moment and have spent the week soaking up being offline, reading and enjoying so many Italian coffees.

I hope you enjoy this week’s edit and have a wonderful weekend!

The Weekly Edit 9.6

WHAT I DID THIS WEEK:

  • Explored Rome and arrived to Florence.

READ + LOOK + LOVE:

SHOP AND LOOK LOVINGLY:

  • Petit Sezane has officially landed! I’ve known about this for over a year and it is so full of cute styles for the little ones in your life.
  • The team at Dorsey brought this bestselling necklace to my attention and I immediately added it to my wish list. I don’t have anything like it and think it looks so beautiful on!
  • Before I left on my trip, these boots I bought arrived and they are so minimalist and chic and 90s in the best way. I can’t wait to wear them loads come the return of boot season. I had always heard good things about this brand and am glad I finally decided to try it! (This pair looks similar in silhouette for a more affordable price).
  • Speaking of boots, the new chocolate suede release of one of my most-worn lug boots in Fall-Winter are so gorgeous!
  • These $75 earrings have been on major repeat for me ever since I bought them this spring.
  • These loafers are so beautiful I own two pair (in black and espresso). Use code WITWHIMSY15 for 15% off.
  • I am *obsessed* with the Rhode Lip Peptide in Toast. I bought it after going through two tubes of the untinted and this stuff you guys- it is just so good.
  • A year later and I remain very into satin trousers. Especially for nights out when traveling! They don’t take up much space and are comfortable even when indulging on vacation. This new pair from Reformation is on my list now. (As is this cashmere boyfriend sweater from them, too).
  • I am so glad I brought this La Ligne Ben sweater on my trip. I had worn it SO much since getting it before I left. Its silk-cashmere blend makes it the perfect lightweight knit. Perfect for a light layer or over your shoulders. I sized up to a L.
  • I was excited to see Nordstrom is now selling COS! This is one of my favorite European high-street labels. I usually size up in the brand unless an item was already designed to be oversized.
  • I couldn’t think of a more perfect dress than this one for a summer wedding in London. Tanya Taylor was a new to me brand and the moment I spotted this dress I knew it is what I would wear to my friends’ wedding last weekend. (Wearing a size 8) Tanya’s dresses all have this very special quality to them and I am already eyeing this one and this one for my next dressier events. How gorgeous are they!?
  • I couldn’t believe how much better these Spanx shorts were on and in person. They are so flattering! I got the size M and brought them to Italy. Spotted them now on sale.
  • Speaking of Spanx, I would like to personally thank these undergarment shorts as the MVP during my (very sweaty) time in Italy. They were a lifesaver.
  • The Inez Paz boots are my most worn – and have been for several years now. And the new Rye suede color….just wow. It is gorgeous and definitely going on my to-buy list for the season. You can use code WIT&WHIMSY15 with my link to get 15% off.
