Happy Friday from France! Today is a travel day for me and I am headed to somewhere I have always, always wanted to go. I am beside myself excited to explore this destination and stay in the village I’ve dreamt of one day paying a visit to. I’ll be sure to share plenty on Instagram once I’ve played catch up.
I am exhausted following a full week of back to back meetings in Cannes along with more parties and networking events than my feet and spirits could seemingly handle! But it was a worthwhile work trip for En Route to Rêverie and, as always, a balance to also keep everything afloat for w&w during busy season.
I hope you enjoy this week’s edit and have a wonderful weekend!
The Weekly Edit 12.6
WHAT I DID THIS WEEK:
- I was so, so excited to work with Lululemon for the first time this past week! They’ve been on my dreams brand list for years as an avid fan and shopper of the brand so it was truly such an exciting opportunity for me. (This sports bra I’ve been raving about all year! So, so comfy and yet supportive.)
- And Levi’s!! I’ve been wearing Levi’s for forever and long time readers know that I’ve touted several pairs for years here so what an exciting opportunity to partner with the brand to talk (even more!) about one of the pairs of jeans I can’t get enough of.
- I’m in my suit era! A chic black suit never goes out of style, I was delighted to partner with Saks to share some inspo on how to style classic suiting pieces this week and I am utterly in love with the one I picked out. The fit! The fabric!
- A bunch of my recent outfits have been added to my LTK page!
READ + LOOK + LOVE:
- The best hotels in the French Riviera (En Route to Rêverie can book any of these for you with VIP perks! But I certainly have my favorites amongst the ones listed here…)
- 72 Hours with Joanna Gaines in Waco, Texas.
- A guide to Paris’ Pigalle neighborhood.
- 100 notable books of 2024.
- The best butters according to the NYT Wirecutter crew. (I have my own French favorites, but of course!)
- How to visit Notre Dame when it reopens this month.
- The women helping to redefine the food industry.
- Luxury hotels that go all out for Christmas.
- Warm weather getaways to lift your spirits in the dead of winter.
SHOP AND LOOK LOVINGLY:
- I recently rediscovered this hair pomade in my bathroom drawer and forgot how great it is. It’s perfect for building a bit of texture and piecey-ness in lobs.
- I have FINALLY found a stack of necklaces I can wear without them getting so tangled or feeling like I am going to choke. This past week I have been wearing this medallion necklace layered with this Dorsey tennis necklace (18in) and this beautiful new gold link necklace I just got from Dorsey.
- I ended up picking up the new navy shade of my favorite Jenni Kayne cashmere sweater and these beautiful suede kitten heels in tan during their Cyber Week sale. Did you guys get anything? My code is MEGHANDONO15 for non-sale periods, as a reminder!
- I brought this Varley half zip to France for a hike and yoga class I had planned and I’ll likely end up wearing it home on the plane. So soft, so comfy. Size M but would recommend sizing up if you want a roomier fit. This sweater by the brand is next on my list.
- My beloved Rhode Lulani dress is over 50% off right now! I always get complimented when I wear it, it’s one of my favorite LBDs in my closet.
- These knit pants and matching top look oh so cozy.
- A classic and versatile black party dress!
- Some Abercrombie new arrivals caught my eye like this satin midi dress under $150, this sleek loungewear top and matching bottoms, this tweed inspired sweater jacket, and this cardigan with gold buttons.
- Nobody does affordable bags like Mango! If you’re looking for something festive for the party circuit this petite sequin bag, this beaded number, and this mini metallic purse caught my eye.
- If Adidas Sambas aren’t your thing, try this option from English brand Gola.
NOTEWORTHY HOLIDAY FINDS:
- This pretty birthstone necklace is under $80 and would make such a nice personalized gift without a long lead time.
- This candle warmer would make such a lovely gift when paired with a great candle.
- A cute and cozy looking pair of slippers for the homebody in your life.
- I always like when people buy me plush, cozy socks.
- This cap is chic, under $40 and would be perfect all fall and winter long.
- I think these mindfulness affirmation cards would make such a thoughtful gift.
- Beautiful Paris prints from a gallery I love could make a fun gift. (I own one of their prints in my home.)
- I adore this lip treatment (have gone through multiple tubes in a year which is saying something!!) and think it is the perfect stocking stuffer.
- This pretty Christmas nightgown could be a lovely gift.
- These under eye masks make a great stocking stuffer.
