I always forget how much I love the first couple of weeks of January. Here in NYC it is freezing out so it makes staying in and nesting and being cozy all the more reasonable. I’ve soaked up afternoon naps, and long cups of coffee and reading in my favorite nook of late. I’ve enjoyed reflecting on 2024’s successes and shortfalls and doing my 2025 vision board and goal setting.
That being said I felt quite ill all week watching the absolute devastation in LA. I donated to the LAFD and World Central Kitchen and I hope you’ll consider helping if you are able as well (or grab one of these I <3 LA sweaters with 100% of the proceeds going to the LAFD). LA community – I love you, I am praying for you.
I hope you enjoy this first edit of 2025 and have a wonderful weekend!

NOTEWORTHY FINDS TO SHOP:
- I’ve been wearing my Levi’s 501 Crop Jeans a lot lately. Highly recommend this $98 pair of jeans and this pair, too (recently featured HERE)! I wear the 28 in both but would recommend sizing up if in between sizes.
- This Varley jacket sold out right away so I was happy to see they restocked it. It is so chic! Also, speaking of Varley and worth mentioning again, I have so much love for these satin pants I impulse purchased at the Soho store. I lived in them over the holidays. They have a wonderful fit, the fabric quality is great and they are perfect for dressing up or down. I took a size S. Highly, highly recommend.
- Speaking of pants, if you love the IYKYK *the pants* from J.Crew that are being discontinued, you’ll likely love the Artzia Effortless Pants that I also own but happen to have more color options. I recommend sizing up. I wear an 8 in them just like the J.Crew pants. I am considering getting them in the beautiful navy this year for spring/summer outfits. (Also, while you’re shopping their site – this blazer looks great!)
- Loads of goodness in the Toteme sale. However, they’re on their final sale so I’d only proceed if you know your sizing with the brand! So, this brand is one of my very favorites for investment staples. They make it beautifully and it also feel special.
- I love a cozy crewneck sweatshirt and got this one in Chocolate and it is safe to say I’ve been living in it for the last week. I got the size S as they are unisex. It’s got a great fit and feels like you’ve had it for ages.
- I also got this fun and vintage-feeling crewneck from a darling new athletic brand. I got the size M. I like how it feels like old school country club merch. WITWHIMSY20 will get you 20% off their site! (Also, I got this pullover and can’t wait to wear it once it stops being frigid in NYC!)
- After discussing with family during the holidays about what black kitchen utensils are made of, I tossed all mine and ordered some newness for the new year from one of my favorite kitchen brands: Material. I have a variety of their cutting boards and kitchen utensils and knives and love the quality.
- Dorsey jewelry was some of the best money I spent last year and they just restocked some of their bestselling items. Also, it’s my most worn items from them are this bezel bracelet and this tennis bracelet (both in 6.5 in) this perfect for every day sparkle necklace (18in) and this never-take-it-off gold chain that’s beautiful for layering.
- One of my most worn pairs of jeans of the last year are now on sale. I find them TTS and wear a 28.
- Merit just dropped new shades of their beloved Flush Balm that is easily one of my most worn blushes. Also, if you love Beverly Hills – run to grab the new shade Archival. It is *so good*
- Spotted the shoes I bought in Paris on sale on MyTheresa!
- Nothing like a cute workout set to help get you motivated in the new year.

Hi! Is the Yellow Label Co. sweatshirt soft? Or more structured? Similar to the Jenni Kayne Marina Sweatshirt? Thank you!!
More structured!!
