My favorite fall jeans // boots combo is back in today’s outfit but I’ve topped this look with my new vintage-inspired moto jacket that I snagged during Shopbop’s last sale. I love the edgier vibe it has, the soft suede and the zipper detailing…it’s pretty perfect to pair over more feminine dresses as well (something you’ll see in a post next week in fact…!)
Also today, I’m hoping you guys will indulge + help me a bit with something I’ve been struggling with…
When I started working from home full time and had a change in my cadence of days, I thought I’d be better with content creation but this week I feel like I hit a wall. Maybe it’s a lack of sleep or stress getting to me, but I’m feeling a bit of burnout.
I’m often bursting at the seams with posts for witwhimsy.com (5 posts a week and sometimes 6!) but I’ve been so busy the past few weeks (it’s that time of year isn’t it?) that I feel like I’m failing on all my social channels.
So I’m hoping you guys will help me by telling me what you’d like to see more of on Snapchat, Instagram (+Stories) & Facebook…what do you like to see from your favorite bloggers? Is it behind the scenes? Is it beauty products reviewed? Food? Everyday life? More casual snapshots? More everyday outfits? Sale alerts? More narration through the day? Is there anything I do that you don’t like?
Feel free to leave it below in comments, DM me on Instagram or Twitter or email me!
With your feedback I hope to be able to better share, on a regular basis, what interests you and also allows us to get to know one another better! (I absolutely loved knowing you guys more through this post! Would you want to do another one of those or another Q&A?)
As we near the end of the year, I’m looking towards 2017 and making some changes to the site and often you guys have the most valuable feedback + ideas! I so greatly appreciate any and all thoughts and want to thank you in advance for anything you share!
And as a quick reminder, the weekly roundup will be live tomorrow! TGIF you guys, TGIF…!

I would love to see more casual everyday Snapchats.
Thank you so much for letting me know, Monyale! Will definitely work more of those in and get better about snapping throughout the day.
I like your every day outfit posts the most…honestly I think you have the best relatable style of any blogger I’ve come across (as in you are very fashionable but not fashion editor crazy fashionable haha). So I’d maybe like to see what kinds of stuff you like to wear around your apt…not that I expect you to take pics of those outfits haha but maybe links to some of your favorites. Also, more “typical day” posts would be nice for those of us who don’t go into an office everyday. Thanks, hope this helps! In any case you’re definitely not failing Meghan!
Ashley, THANK YOU! This comment means so much and is super helpful. Sometimes when I go to snap the everyday things I really think “does anyone care?” but if those more casual moments are of interest, I can definitely work to share more! Thank you, thank you for the candid feedback!!
I love your beauty recommendations. I also love your shopping guides that you have on your Friday posts. You keep me in style girl! It is so nice to have a link to each of the pieces you have your eye on. Thanks for making it so easy for me to shop! I am strange and don’t enjoy online shopping so it kinda feels like you are doing the work for me. Thanks so much! 🙂
Audrey – THANK YOU!! I love that you find those recos helpful and I’ll keep those up! So appreciate the comment xx
I would say don’t stress it too much, you’re doing great! If you find suggestions helpful I can say my favourite posts are your personal ones, the ones in which I get to see the real Meghan, your wants and worries, the things that you find joy in and the things that keep you up a night. We all have those, but sometimes we forget and think that we’re the only ones who struggle.
Happy thoughts from across the Atlantic!
Catalina – THANK YOU! I so appreciate the kind words and will definitely work to incorporate more personal stories throughout my posts. Sometimes I worry that people don’t want to read those but you raise a good reminder – we all go through things and can learn from one another! Big hugs to you!
