While summer dressing isn’t my favorite (you know by now I am a Fall girl at heart!), I must admit that I really do love linen season!
I always look forward to the time of year when stores fill up with light and breezy linen pieces. Give me all the linen tops, linen pants, linen shorts and especially linen dresses this time of year. I don’t fret over them being perfectly pressed – instead, lived in linen is my norm (but I do have a few tricks for making things a bit less wrinkled, see below!)
And with the heat officially here to stay for the next couple of months – you know I will be living in linen nearly exclusively.
Linen Pieces I Am Loving This Summer
I hope you’ll enjoy this edit of great linen pieces available to shop now. They are from brands that I love and wear regularly. Whether you’re shopping for weekends, for work or vacations – there’s a bit of something for everyone. I had so much fun curating the edit today and I’ve also included a bunch of outfit inspiration from recent and past looks of mine. I linked all the items that remain available to shop now.
You can shop the pieces now and wear them as long as summer weather sticks around!

Why Linen Is Worth Investing In
Linen is one of the few fabrics I look forward to wearing every summer. It’s breathable, lightweight and effortlessly chic, making it ideal for everything from hot days in New York to summer travels throughout Europe. While it naturally wrinkles, I think that’s part of its charm. Investing in a few well-made linen pieces means you’ll have timeless staples you’ll reach for year after year.
Don’t forget to buy this handy wrinkle releaser – I always spray it on my linen pieces to get them looking a bit less wrinkled and more refreshed. And if you need more help, I also really love this dual voltage travel steamer.
How I’m Styling Linen This Summer
Nearly every linen piece in this edit has either traveled with me through France and England or is something I’d happily pack for an upcoming Europe trip! These are the pieces I’d recommend if you’re building a timeless linen capsule wardrobe for summer.

Linen Jumpsuit
A lightweight linen jumpsuit by is perfect for hot summer days. Mine is from a few years ago but this one from Reformation caught my eye (I typically wear an 8 or a 10 in their jumpsuits), and this strapless one is cute too.

Slip Dress
This strappy and stretchy linen blend midi dress from Theory. Size 8.

Two Piece Linen Set
I have been loving this linen tank and matching linen skirt from Sézane. Styled, of course, with their iconic basket bag. Wearing an 8 in the top and skirt.
Reformation has such a good selection of linen two piece sets this year – like this, this, and this (which I own and love, in size L).
I also have this set that’s perfect for summer travels. Wear it on the plane, to brunch or over a swimsuit. I have the size M.

Linen Shift Midi Dress
This simple yet sophisticated linen shift dress from Jenni Kayne (size M). Use code MEGHANDONO10 for 10% off at Jenni Kayne.

Linen A-Line Dress
This beautiful midi dress from Reformation (size 8) was one of my favorite new pieces last Summer and continues to be on heavy rotation for me this year.
I wore the gingham so much I got the black as well which I love pairing with a belt.
Embroidered Linen Dress
This embroidered linen mini dress is a new favorite from Sézane, and perfect for even the hottest NYC days. Wearing a size 8.

Linen Blouse
This chic linen blouse couldn’t be easier to style with shorts or denim making it a great piece for transitional weather. Wearing a M. Seen styled with the Agolde Ren Jeans.

Tailored Linen Separates
A linen vest paired with linen shorts makes for an incredibly chic (yet breathable) look. I’m wearing this vest above, but spotted this year’s version which is equally as stylish and pairs perfectly with these shorts.
Seen styled with my favorite Margaux sandals I wear non-stop in summer.
Linen Shirt Dress
A lightweight linen shirt dress is a Summer wardrobe MVP for me! Lightweight, easy to style, and just as wearable for vacation or running errands on a hot day. I’m wearing this one from Artizia in a size M. The brand always does really great linen pieces.

Linen Maxi Dress
An easy, breezy linen maxi dress is a must for the Summer.
Dissh is one of my go-to brands for linen and I always browse their new arrivals throughout linen season.

Linen Tops
A cropped linen top is so versatile, like this or this.
I paired mine with a linen midi skirt which I love as a feminine romantic style. This one is similar.
Styled with this hat.

Linen Trousers
I have a whole collection at this point for when I want a break from linen dresses.
Madewell, Aritzia, Reformation, and Favorite Daughter all have great options of classic, tailored linen trousers.

Linen Button Down + Trousers
Another way I like styling my linen trousers. I like to wear an oversized linen button down as a cover up or paired with linen pants for a head-to-toe linen look.
This is a go-to summertime coverup combo for me.
If you’re looking for a shorts set, this With Nothing Underneath linen button-down and the matching boxer shorts are so good! Use code MEGHAN10 for 10% off.

Strapless Linen Dress
This simple linen blend dress from Sézane could easily be dressed up or dressed down. Wearing a size 10 but likely could have done an 8, too.
This is a similar look.

Linen Shorts
I am so particular about shorts. These are a favorite linen pair from Reformation passed my test. Sadly it doesn’t look like they make them in linen anymore, but I do recommend checking out this pair.
I like this similar looking pair, too.

Linen Mini Dress
A cute linen mini dress is perfect for hot Summer days! This one, this one, and this one are all great picks.

Another great linen shift from J.Crew – here is this year’s version.

Red Linen Mini Dress
A pop of color, who is she?! I scooped up this linen blend mini dress (with built in shorts) for a beach vacation in Mexico last year. I love the darling button detailing and it’s a great piece to throw on and go for casual outings. They have a variety of patterns and colors available.
Other red linen dresses worth checking out include this one and this one!
