Agolde Jeans Review

Agolde Jeans Review

For over six years now, Agolde has been my denim brand of choice. I first bought one style, got hooked on it and have since bought and worn a variety of their styles. I’m a jeans girl through and through – I love them for their comfortable and casual vibe but also for their versatility and the ability to dress them up, dress them down and wear them all year round.

Agolde Jeans Review

When I shop for denim I look for a few things. I want the jeans to be quality made and not stretch out after just one or two wears. And I want them to hold their shape after being washed and I want the fit to be flattering. I invest in quality denim because I wear my pairs of jeans a lot.

Agolde is a premium denim label “dedicated to setting the standard for advanced, directional denim”. They aim to deliver a fresh reinterpretation on classic jean silhouettes but you’ll also find them making plenty of on-trend styles.

I also love that the brand is focused on sustainability and attention to detail. They use advanced methods to reduce their imprint on the environment, including laser technology, ozone machines and high-efficiency wash methods. Their jeans are truly the best I’ve tried and have held up so well.

As you read the below review, for reference, I am usually a size 28 in denim but in several styles of Agolde I size down to a 27. I am 5’5″ tall.

Agolde Parker High Waist Crop Relaxed Straight Leg Jeans

Agolde Parker Jean

These are such a flattering jean on! With little to no stretch, these are meant to be worn lower on the hips. They have a relaxed straight leg jean with a cropped hem and they are endlessly versatile to style.

Crafted in the brand’s signature zero stretch Cotton, this pair will only get softer with each wear.

I wear my smaller size 27 in this pair.

Agolde Vintage High Rise Boot Jeans

Due to my height these look rather different on me than the models online but I love that they hit below the ankle and are a wear year round wash color.

I’m wearing them in a size 28.

Agolde Ren Jeans | Agolde Jeans Review

Agolde Ren Jeans

The Ren Jean is designed with a flattering high-rise waist and an on-trend, wide leg silhouette. I like where they hit me right below the ankle so they pair well with my favorite ballet flats and sneakers.

I wear size 28 in these. But I find them a bit snug in the hips as a head’s up!

I’m already looking at purchasing another wash in this style.

Agolde Nico Jeans review

Agolde Nico Jean

The Nico High Rise Slim jeans were my gateaway drug to the Agolde world aka my first pair of Agolde jeans and I haven’t looked back since. I had never had a jean that made me feel *that* good before. They slim my waist and hips and make me look taller.

They are no longer produced with the exile of skinny jeans but I hope one day they’ll return and for now I’m holding onto my pairs.

These jeans are majorly high-rise and have a slimmed straight fit with only the slightest bit of stretch (I find they barely have any give but I find this is why they are so flattering on!)  I wear these with slingbacks, flats and pumps primarily.

I size down to a size 27 for an extra snug fit.

Agolde Parker Long Loose Denim Short

The best denim shorts…ever. They have the perfect vintage, lived-in look but are tailored so they feel like they were made for you. I have the long version which I prefer to the shorter pair which I tried first and didn’t love on my legs. These are a classic cuff off short. They feature a roomier fit for a comfy feel and an elongated inseam.

I wear a size 28 in these so very true to size. I also own them in white. The brand now makes these in loads of styles, fabrics and washes.

Agolde Riley High Rise Straight Crop

The Agolde Riley jean is the brand’s signature straight leg which has become super popular in recent months. It has a flattering high-rise and straight leg that holds close to the body. These jeans have no stretch so I definitely recommend sizing up if you prefer a roomier fit.

I wear size 28 in the Riley for a snug fit.

Riley with a distressed hem

And I also have the Riley with a distressed hem and a dark wash as well that I love to wear in Fall and Winter.

. . .

I haven’t tried the Agolde 90s Fit jeans that are super popular as they’re not my style. And sadly the other popular Pinch Waist jeans weren’t a fit for me either when I tried them due to my height.

But as denim is super personal to one’s body & one’s style, you may want to also try those!

Next on my list to try are the Amber Jean and the Harper Crop Jean.

You can find Agolde on their website but also at a variety of retailers you likely already shop at including Bloomingdales, Net-a-Porter, Nordstrom, Revolve, Saks Fifth Avenue and Shopbop. Each retailer often carries different washes and variations on the above styles so it is worth checking each out.

How much do these stretch out? I have a pair of new Riley jeans from this line and they are a touch loose to start with and I’m wondering if I should size down and then they will stretch out?

Hi, so helpful as usual. Which ones are you wearing in the very first picture with the Chanel flats?
