Happy Monday you guys! I feel like I’m starting this week in the best of moods because yesterday was such a glorious day that I spent not working and practically being outside all day. The sunshine soaked into my soul and put a serious pep in my step. I hope you guys got enjoy some Vitamin D time, too!

By popular demand I’m sharing a bit of a shopping guide today to start out the week! I almost exclusively shop online so I wanted to share with you guys where I shop and why. I know shopping online can be really difficult for some but several of my favorite online destinations offer free shipping and free returns making it less of a painful process!

I of course still make impulse purchases around New York mostly at stores like J.Crew, Madewell and & Other Stories but largely you’ll find me filling my virtual shopping cart.

I hope the below guide is helpful and I’m of course happy to answer any questions you guys may have about the shops shared! Happy hunting xo

Everlane: This direct to consumer fashion brand is one of my all time favorites. If you come here often you know this already as I wear their stuff all the time. Their sweaters are such a good price point for the quality, their modern loafer is one of my favorite shoes of all time (and that’s saying something! Styled here), their silk button downs are so flattering and versatile (I wear this one most often) and their tees are great basics. I also love that they let you sign up for Waitlist email alerts when new collections drop. I root for this brand like no other. I also just got their new Day Heels and can’t wait to sport them in France!

Shopbop: Shopbop is probably the place I shop online most often. Shipping is fast and free and returns are super easy. The reason I shop here the most is because, once you have an account, the functionality of liking (“hearting”) favorite pieces and then Shopbop’s capability of emailing you when those items go on sale. This is great for price matching as on numerous occasions I have bought something only to have it go on sale a few days later. Shopbop will refund the difference if it meets their terms. They’ll also price match if you find the item cheaper somewhere else. Not to mention their email customer service is so speedy and official. Right now they have some great picks all under $200 and I always love browsing what their Weekly Top Sellers are.

Nordstrom: But of course! Free shipping and free (read: painless) returns keep me coming back plus lots of affordable finds and good picks from Topshop. I tend to usually head straight to their New Arrivals and then sort by “Newest.” I also regularly use the Wish List function and love the site’s Gift section for when shopping for family & friends’ birthdays.

Ann Taylor & LOFT: These sister brands always have great sales going on which means I often impulse buy here. Several of my favorite purchases last year came from Ann Taylor surprisingly (here and here) and I recently bought these which are a really fun take on work-ready pants. I think both brands run a little big as I wear a 4 vs. my usual 6 – just as a head’s up for online ordering.

Topshop: I’ve been shopping here quite a bit recently because I am newly in love with their jeans (read here) and shipping is free. They have a broader selection on their site than what Nordstrom carries and is a great go-to for affordable, on-trend dresses and blouses. I also quite like the shoes I have from there! (Most are too trendy for me but I do have sneakers + laceups from them.) Their search functionality is also great which I appreciate.

Sezane: This French brand is a mild obsession of mine. The sneakers in this post are from this brand and I must always stop by their L’Apartment when in Paris. While they don’t yet have distribution in the U.S. they don’t charge for shipping and offer free returns plus you can pay for your order in dollars! Their aesthetic is very similar to that of Madewell but more on the feminine side so it is right up my alley. I adore their dressesshoes and their cool-girl jackets that are reminiscent of IRO or Isabel Marant but at a much better price. (More of my Paris shopping favorites are here in case you have a trip soon!)

M.Gemi: I’m a huge shoe gal through and through (it’s a problem for my small NYC closet!) and M.Gemi makes some of my favorite pairs. They are a relatively new company but all their shoes are sold directly online through their site, are Italian made and they release new styles every Monday. These are my favorite style that I own but each pair that I own are super comfy which makes their price tag worthwhile.

Cuyana: I am never not checking out what’s new from this San Francisco based direct to consumer brand. Their pieces are timeless, classic and yet on-trend and modern. I have their totes in 3 colors, I adore their silk tees (styled here and here) and also swear by their travel cases. I give those and the leather accessories and travel staples as personalized gifts often. I cannot recommend this brand enough!

Amazon: I rely on Amazon for all book purchases (obvi), miscellaneous kitchen items as well as beauty products and things like candles. I also quite like checking out their new Fashion arrivals regularly.

BaubleBar: I don’t buy expensive jewelry at all so I almost exclusively purchase jewels from BaubleBar. I love how affordable and on-trend all their pieces are and their personalized pieces make great gifts.

Club Monaco: I generally feel like I would wear one of everything that Club Monaco carries. I love this brand but I refuse to pay full price 99% of the time. Therefore I often set up sale alerts for what I have my eye on and then purchase the item when it gets marked down. This of course means sometimes I miss out on popular items but I figure I probably didn’t need it anyhow ;). Their sale section overall though is usually chock full of goodness and I like to wait till they do an additional 30 or 40% off. I did however just buy this bag as I’ve been eyeing it and noticed it went up in price at a lot of other retailers so when it was still $88 at CM, I bit the bullet!

Outdoor Voices: While I used to shop for Lululemon and Nike online often, as I’ve mentioned before I am very into in Outdoor Voices at the moment. I love their leggings so much! (I have both a size M and two pair in size S and would recommend sizing down actually otherwise they can get a little too slouchy at the top.)

ASOS: I shop at ASOS when I need a dress for an ocassion and I also love browsing their skirts. The prices are all affordable and they make shipping + returns super easy. I actually just bought this dress to bring to France. I LOVE it. I wear a US 8 in ASOS vs. my usual size 6 btw.

  1. Yes on Club Monaco!!! Literally if I could only shop one place for the rest of my life, 100% would be there.
