You know those pieces that when you try them on you instantly go “Ooooo”? Well that was me with the MM.LaFleur Merritt Jardigan for me when I got it this year.
MM.LaFleur Jardigan Review:
So what is a jardigan exactly? It’s part jacket, part cardigan!
The jardigan has the sharpness of a blazer, thanks to traditional lapels, and the comfort of a cardigan, thanks to a stretchy-yet-structured knit material. The material is actually my favorite part of this piece. It’s so unique! It’s got a subtle rib to it and thanks to its Viscose / Nylon / Spandex makeup, it has the perfect amount of stretch to make it comfortable yet flattering. The material is designed to resist wrinkles and maintain a smooth silhouette while you’re wearing it.
Better yet? You can wear this piece multiple ways.
Tie the sash at the waist to create shape through the torso or wear it open for a more relaxed look.
And better yet? This piece has shoulder pads which I absolutely love. Who knew!? They add a great structure to the overall look when wearing the jardigan.
And in exciting news for the season, MM.LaFleur just brought out a new take on the Jardigan – one with a hood! You know by now how much I am loving hoodies this season so I absolutely love this new Colette Jardigan – available in black and two gorgeous jewel tones. It’s made from the same lovable fabric and has a bit of a different fit in the front to accommodate the hood.
The MM.LaFleur jardigan is such a beautifully made functional layering piece with a water-resistant finish, hood, pockets, and removable waist sash. Perfect for working from home, being on the go, and everything in between.
MM.LaFleur pieces are investment pieces but they are such staples.
Unbelievable quality, great + flattering fits and items you just know you’ll have for many years to come. It’s become a favorite female founded small business of mine to support.
And if you’re shopping the brand, don’t miss one of my favorite tees – The Leslie Tee that I absolutely love (and that sold out right away) and is finally back in stock. I own it in black and promptly ordered it in ivory. The quality and fit are SO good. It’s thicker than your average tee making it super flattering on.
Other items I own and love by the brand? The Curie pant (I wear a 6S) – so comfy and yet still chic and office appropriate. Seen on here. The Ellie Pullover which is comfy and yet refined (size M) and the O’Hara Blazer (size 4) which is so beautifully made and the softest of materials.
