Christophe Robin’s hair products have been in my rotation for nearly a decade at this point. My love for the brand began when I first tried his cult-status Sea Salt Scrub (which he made popular long before scalp scrubs were trending) and it did wonders for my hair so I’ve been using it ever since!
Christophe Robin opened his first salon in 1995 at the young age of 24. He quickly began to be known for his colorist skills and clients of his have included Claudia Schiffer and Catherine Deneuve as well as other supermodels and actresses.
By 1999 Christophe was inspired to create his own line of products that was inspired by his belief that hair color is only as good as the hair itself. He began his eponymous line by introducing gentle cleansers, styling products and treatment products that use natural ingredients such as prickly pear oil, rose, sea salt and lemon so that all his clients had deeply nourished hair for lasting, radiant color.
Having started out in France and being carried extensively in French pharmacies – his brand is now sold in many countries around the world.
I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Christophe years ago and you immediately understand why his clients trust him. I’ve come to trust and use regularly so many of his high quality hair products and today I am sharing those I think are worth investing in.
8 Best Christophe Robin Hair Products
My holy grail Christophe Robin product.
This scrub is like an at home spa experience. I love how this exfoliates your scalp to get rid of build up and purify any excess product. As it rinses out the salts is effervescent and it feels amazing. I actually love to give this scrub to my girlfriends as gifts – it is that good! A tub will last you a long time and I personally am always buying the mini version so I can travel with it and never be without.
I use this in place of shampoo at least twice a week. Your scalp is left exfoliated and soothed so hair feels super fresh and shiny after use. It’s an Allure Best of Beauty award winner and it’s safe to say that the Christophe Robin Cleansing Purifying Scrub with Sea Salt will always be in my personal rotation.
This is a great detoxifying shampoo that you can use daily. Massage it into your hair and scalp and it’ll go to work to balance excess oils thanks to the Thermal Mud in the formula. It also supports scalp barrier function which I’ve found has been really helpful whenever my scalp is feeling extra sensitive or agitated.
This lightweight conditioner instantly detangles while giving you sleeker, smoother hair. It works really well hand in hand with the Purifying Shampoo or the Scalp Scrub. If you have a sensitive scalp or dry ends – this is a great conditioner for you.
This is such a cool product. A deeply detoxifying pre-wash hair mask that gently purifies and soothes the scalp. If your hair is feeling not its best – use this mask as a quick refresher. You can use it on either dry or damp hair and then you just let it sit on your hair for three minutes before you rinse it out. Alternatively, if you want more of a detoxifying treatment – you can leave it on for up to fifteen minutes.
Fine and flat hair? This paste works! I love the innovative formula that you can use in the shower. The thick paste transforms into a foam and helps hair feel and look thicker. Roots look more lifted and hair isn’t weighed down.
There’s a miniature size if you want to give it a test before buying the larger tub (that lasts you a long time by the way!)
I first tried this at a friend’s house and I fell in love with it. You massage it in from root to tip and hair feels super revitalized afterwards. I particularly like to use this mask when my hair is feeling overly dry or damaged and I like that you only have to leave it on for two minutes before you get results.
No matter your hair type, this is a great hair serum. It features prickly pear oil which works to repair and nourish dry, damaged hair so it is wonderful to add to your routine if you do a lot of heat styling.
Does your hair color need a boost? This hydrating mask provides temporary color to natural or color-treated hair to color correct and add shine. It has almond butter and buriti oil and it can correct pigments. I use the Baby Blonde shade but there are also shades for other hair colors. I love that it is free of parabens, silicones, oxidants and ammonia.
You apply this to cleansed, towel-tried hair from root to tip and then leave it in for 5-30 minutes depending on how much color correction you’re looking for. Pro tip: I would air on the side of caution with your first use to see how your hair color takes to it! The color correction will fade in three to give washes.

And, if you ever find yourself in Paris and are looking for a color or cut service or even just a blow out – be sure to check out the Christophe Robin salon on one of Paris’s most charming streets in the 2nd arrondissement. I absolutely loved the scalp scrub and blowout I got there!
