I love scouring the web this time of year to find holiday looks at all price points. I think, in particular, in the years since 2020 and 2021 when we were largely robbed of the opportunity to get dressed up for the holidays, I have loved embracing extra fun with holiday dressing!
While I largely stick to a neutral palette, the holidays are a fun time to introduce some pops of color and added sparkle.
Budget Friendly Holiday Outfit Ideas
If you’re ready to embrace holiday fashion but don’t want to break the bank, everything I’ve curated in today’s post is under $300!
1. Tuckernuck Bow Dress
Tuckernuck’s in-house brand has so many festive pieces at a great price point. This midi dress with darling bow details on the back make it perfect for the holiday season (and beyond!) Layer a chic top coat on top, add some festive earrings and you’re good to go!
2. Banana Republic Sequin Maxi Dress
I love the simple and elegant silhouette of this sleek stretch sequin dress. It also comes in silver and the color of the season — chocolate brown! I think the matte sequins make this dress look festive without feeling too loud.
3. Anthropologie Polka Dot Dress
We love a little black dress with a twist! I’m obsessed with the subtle polka dot pattern and the corset style bodice of this party-ready dress. You could easily repurpose this for a winter wedding or date night.
4. Line & Dot Contrast Trim Cardigan
For a more low key holiday gathering, this boucle knit cardigan is darling and super versatile! It would be perfect paired with a pair of denim, or some silk trousers.

5. Tuckernuck Pearl and Crystal Earrings
For just a touch of holiday sparkle, these simple pearl earrings are just the ticket and go with just about everything. They look way more expensive than their $38 price tag.
6. WAYF Cowl Neck Feather Trim Top
If there’s any time to embrace a pop of red, it’s the holidays. I think this top is the perfect mix of elegant and festive, and the feather trimmed cuffs are too fun!
7. Steve Madden Slip Skirt
I love a slip skirt in the fall and winter, and especially for the holiday season. Pair this under $100 option with a matching red sweater for a monochromatic look, or style it with a silk camisole.
8. Pomander Place Velvet Blazer Dress
If you’re looking for an affordable dress to wear to an office holiday party, look no further! This is such a chic silhouette and the hunter green velvet is gorgeous. It also comest in black tweed if that’s more your style.
9. Sam Edelman Suede Mules
I would pair these festive black shoes with everything from cropped denim to dresses! And at only $150, they’re a steal.
10. Mango Velvet Blazer
If you’re only looking to add one piece to your holiday wardrobe, I would recommend a velvet blazer. It’s an easy way to infuse a bit of holiday spirit into your outfit without going over the top.
Layer over a slip dress, or a silk tank and jeans. This one comes in a handful of festive colors including navy and burgundy. I own the black and paired it with a tulle skirt for holiday last year.
11. Dolce Vita Slingbacks
Dolce Vita has such a great selection of budget friendly shoes. I think this gold pair (with a low heel) would be great to pair with a black dress for a bit of shine. I own the pair in black and they are great.
12. Tuckernuck Velvet Bow Earrings
While I typically keep my jewelry understated and minimal, you simply must add a bit of sparkle come holiday season! These chic bow earrings under $75 add a little something extra to any outfit.
13. LOFT Velvet Bow Handbag
To finish off a holiday outfit, you simply can’t go wrong with a petite velvet bag for the holiday season! Find even more velvet finds I love HERE.

Shop More Budget Friendly Holiday Outfits
J.Crew is one of my favorite retailers to shop this time of year for budget friendly holiday outfits. I recently added a few new pieces to my wardrobe and wanted to share the looks I put together from their latest holiday collection.
I layered this cropped faux fur jacket (size L) over this gorgeous pleated dress (M) and added my trusty Stevie ankle boots to complete the look.
A classic cable-knit sweater is a must for the holidays (size M). To elevate the look I paired it with textured satin trousers (with a comfy elastic waistband) (Size S).
One of my favorite slip skirts has been reimagined with lace detailing and comes in the perfect shade of burgundy! Wearing a size M.
I styled it here with a classic black top coat (size 6), cashmere crewneck (size L) and tall suede boots I wear on repeat this time of year.
