What Meghan Wants for Christmas Gift Guide

Gift guides season has officially arrived on wit & whimsy and today I’m debuting with one of last year’s most popular guides: What I want for Christmas! This is a compilation of everything on my personal wish list right now. (You may notice some items from my Spring Wish List & Fall Wish List).

I don’t need any of these things – they are more nice to haves of course and rather are just items I’ve considered purchasing and may do so later this year or in 2023 – we’ll see! But I hope it inspires you and gives you some good gift ideas as holiday shopping officially gets underway.

What Meghan Wants for Christmas:

1. Veronica Beard Blazer

My Veronica Beard Blazer collection makes me feel put together and confident every time I don one of them. This new style is an updated classic and so timeless. Definitely high on my list for the forthcoming season.

2. Khaite Sneakers

I saw a girl wearing these sneakers in my neighborhood this summer and immediately came home to google to figure out who made them. They are sleek and chic and so my style. They’d make for a nice break from my beloved Common Projects and they also feel a bit more Fall/Winter to me with the suede details.

3. La Ligne Colin Sweater

I love this new style La Ligne released. Ivory, oversized sweater perfection. I initially ordered it but sized down and it was too small so will order it in a Medium again soon (likely!)

4. Emme Parsons Croc Loafers

How chic are these loafers? I like that they are a bit more chic than a traditional pair.

5. Manolo Blahnik Hangisi Embellished Flat

Another item on my list for a while. I just love the fun bling on this shoe and know I would have fun styling these with more structured and menswear looks.

6. Reverence Lab Grown Diamond Earrings

Story time! Last year my sister in law got the most gorgeous lab grown diamond earrings. When one of my BFFs saw them this summer she went to her jeweler, Susie Saltzman to inquire after getting some similar ones. When she visited NYC we both went to look at Susie’s diamonds and Susie and I discovered we’re neighbors! On a walk in our neighborhood (over croissants of course!), Susie told me all about her lab grown diamond business, Reverence. There are so many benefits to lab grown diamonds and Susie told me that doing lab grown for diamond studs is such good value and still the same impact. How beautiful is this set she now offers!? Stunners for sure.

7. Baccarat Crystal Tumblers

We all know my obsession with good glassware by now and I’ve drank out of these tumblers at hotels and restaurants before and I am in love! Baccarat holds a special place in my heart as my parents have collected pieces from the brand my whole life. They were on my wish list last Christmas and remain on it this year as well – some day!

8. Dior Sunglasses

I need another pair of black sunglasses like I need a hole in my head but man, how cool looking is this pair?

9. Tower28 OneLiner Lip Liner

I’m really into lip liners of late and this one looks good and I’ve been seeing rave reviews on TikTok about it.

10. Smith & Mara Twist Ring

This brand was a new discovery for me this season and I love their simple yet impactful designs – very in line with my favorite everyday jewelry.

11. Dior Scarf

One of my very favorite ways to add visual interest to an outfit and to change up the look of my go-to bags is to add a scarf. I have several in blacks/ivory/camel but no navy ones. This navy toile floral is just stunning isn’t it?

12. Apple Watch

I think I’ve successfully been convinced by my besties and you guys that having an Apple Watch is a good health investment.

13. Cartier Tank Watch

I’m actually keeping my eye out for a vintage Cartier timepiece or something similar in style. I don’t have an every day watch I love and I really want to add one that feels special and timeless (no pun intended). Alternatively, I really like the look of (the less pricey) Longines watches.

14. Fferrone Glasses

How beautiful are these water glasses? This set of two hand-formed and mouth-blown borosilicate glasses are stunners.

15. Longchamp Box Trot Bag

It’s been a while since I’ve bought a Longchamp bag but I think this new style they released this Fall is so cute! A great size and can easily be dressed up or dressed down. I also have a travel bag of theirs on my wish list (see widget below!)

16. Khaite Clutch

My god there are so many beautiful Khaite bags and this tote is also on my list but this clutch has been on my list for years. I’m waiting for it come back in stock!

17. Tôteme Coat

I’m not a huge fan of contrast stitching personally so when the original version of this coat became Instagram famous last year I was never interested. But the all black version? Now we’re talking. It’ is so chic and every time I’ve seen it on someone in NYC I love it more and more.

Love my Kindle so much! I sprung for a new Paperwhite on Prime Day as well (I had been using a really old Kindle Fire) and it’s amazing. Also I love all the dainty jewelry! So cute.

Re watches: I have a pre-owned Cartier Tank Francaise and the Longines Dolce Vita with the red strap. I like them both equally. IMO the allure of the Tank is about the curved case and beautifully designed steel bracelet, which the Tank Must doesn’t have. The Longines has a more beautiful dial with the guilloche texture. The Tank Must seems to be riding on Cartier’s reputation, but if you want a Cartier watch, that’s what you want. (Note that these are both quartz watches, and for the price of the Cartier watch, you could easily buy a Longines automatic watch. My favorite and daily watch is a Longines automatic.)
