This past week I’ve been trying to get to Central Park as much as possible because the first week of November is almost always peak Fall colors. Central Park has been my happy place since I first moved to New York City nearly 10 years ago and the magic of the park during this time of year never gets old.
One of my favorite places in Central Park is always the Bow Bridge in the middle of the park. This cast iron bridge is so romantic in its style and perfectly nestled between the Bethesda Fountain and the Ramble. At this time of year the trees surrounding the bridge light up in an array of festive colors making it a must-see. The bridge was completed in 1862 and designed to stand out amidst its surrounding and it certainly does. I always try and take time to stand on this bridge and watch the boats go by below and just people watch. There’s always such a beautiful sentiment in the air as people enjoy this bridge.
