I’m not usually a big trend shopper. Rather, I really hone in on streamlined, timeless silhouettes and capsule wardrobe like basics. You can see this when you shop my closet.
But one thing I am loving for this Spring and into Summer is all the beautiful knit, crochet pieces that hit collections for the season.
Crochet Pieces for Spring and Summer
The piece that started my crochet collection for this season? This $60 knit mini dress that was such a good find from Amazon Fashion. I ordered it after finding it as part of my work curating New Spring Picks from Amazon Fashion. I’m wearing a M. I like that it fits TTS and is lined so you don’t have to worry about adding a slip. This dress also comes in two other colors as well.
I paired the dress with a simple pair of gold sandals that are a new addition to my shoe collection. I love them for their small heel that will allow me to wear them with dressed up or dressed down looks all spring and summer long.
Given how much I liked this dress, I also bought this Sezane dress that is similar and feels a bit more dressy. I sized up to an 8.
I dipped my toe into the crochet trend last year with a cute two piece black set from Everlane you can see here. And I was excited to rediscover it when I pulled out items from my Spring wardrobe to transition back into my closet.
I will say that most crochet skews too boho for my personal style. There’s a fine line of when it becomes too 70s or too Coachella vs. feeling elevated so I’m pretty picky when it comes to this trend.
I have rounded up a variety of styles below that fit the trend and my personal style.
As you’re shopping this Spring I hope you’ll find it helpful. I pulled pieces from a handful of my favorite brands and retailers and also at a variety of price points as well.
I think a lot of the pieces I found could also work really well for vacation looks. They’d be perfect to throw over a swimsuit to head to a poolside lunch or go from breakfast to the beach. I had fun searching for elevated crochet pieces in the form of dresses and cardigans but also unexpected items like shorts and sandals as well.
I’m going to love adding more crochet pieces to my wardrobe that’s heavy on eyelet and linen during the warmer months and am excited to see what other good items come out as we move into summer collection drops!
