Hi and happy Friday you guys! There is major construction work being done near my apartment that has driven me to a near-anxiety attack on multiple occasions this week with the noise. Needless to say, my Bose Headphones have become my BFF along with these Chill Out gummies to help my nervous system that has gone into overdrive with endless drilling, hammering and yelling. Le sigh! As such, and because I have an exceptionally busy week next week, I truly can’t wait for a peaceful weekend at home.
I hope you enjoy this week’s edit and have a wonderful weekend!
Weekly Edit 5.16.25
WHAT I DID THIS WEEK:
- I spent the weekend back in Chicago! Here is a little vlog from my quick trip to the city with M.M.LaFleur! And a friendly reminder you can use my code WIT&WHIMSY20 for 20% off anything you are eyeing on their site! My looks from the vlog can be shopped HERE and HERE.
- I made these Sun Dried Tomato Chicken Bowls and they were easy and full of flavor. And this forever favorite Strawberry Shortcake Cake which was made even better by using butter I had brought home from Paris.
- Lots of newness has been added to my LTK page if you want to shop some of my recent looks + edits!
- I devoured Carley Fortune’s new book. I already want to read it again!? I absolutely loved it.
- I am truly so glad Wonder came into my life to breathe some life into my food delivery. I have loved working with them and am truly hooked on some of their menu items – like the Yasas bowls and the Limesalt veggie quesadilla. If you’re in a market where they serve, 10/10 I recommend you try them and you can use my code MEGHAN083 to get $20 off your first two orders.
- I added loads of newness to the Under $100 Shop!
READ + LOOK + LOVE:
- I loved my friend Blair’s reflections on 15 years of blogging. I was nodding along with many (some of which are applicable to other careers and life in general!)
- Tiny Martinis are taking over bar menus. Too cute!
- How to stay in touch with your friends.
- I loved this story about Nonnas from all over serving food with love in one restaurant in NYC.
- I am adding Ina Garten’s perfect roast chicken and this tortellini pasta salad to my must-make summer recipes file.
- Commonly asked questions about En Route to Rêverie.
- A small reminder of how to enjoy life. (See also: The Little Things List!)
- What I bought in Paris on my most recent trip.
NOTEWORTHY FINDS TO SHOP:
- My Shopbop hearts have all been updated! Some really cute finds for summer. Lots of cute pieces for spring and summer trips you may have coming up!
- And I added a lot of items to the Spring-Summer curation of The Shop! Particularly loving this beach bag.
- Me + Em is one of my favorite European labels and their new Vacation Shop is full of gems! This coverup is so chic (and could double as a dress with the right slip under it!), the co-ords they have this season are so unbelievably chic and I personally ordered this beauty of a dress (I loved how it looked styled with a blazer on the product page).
- My favorite daytime moisturizer is now 20% off! Given it is $$ it’s a great time to grab it on sale. It is the best under makeup!
- This would be a great little crossbody bag for summer travels this year.
- I’ve been super impressed with Gap recently, rounded up some favorites here.
- My newest addition to my sandals collection? These beautifully minimalist ones. Reminder that for this month only, you can use code WITWHIMSY10 for 10% off your first purchase from this brand with a minimum order value of $250.
- Ok how darling are the new raffia ballerinas from Margaux!? And this raffia bag from Michael Kors is so good, too!
- I rounded up some very chic Summer finds under $150 here!
- For easy, breezy French inspired vibes this summer, don’t miss Alex Mill’s summer collection.
- I like the pieces I have from Monday Swimwear and now I am eyeing the beautiful new “sunrise floral” pattern they just introduced. How good, right!?
- One of my favorite buys of last Spring is finally back in stock! This linen jumpsuit is flattering on and got so much wear all summer long. I own the size 8.
- This Gap dress looks like a good alternative to the Staud one I’ve been raving about for three years. And this one looks similar, too.
- A Liffner bag is on my wish list and their new drop of woven ones for the season are so, so good.
- Tuckernuck launched a darling collection with Studio McGee’s Shea McGee and the pieces are definitely worth a browse. I got this dress to wear in Provence next month.
- If you’re going to Spain or Portugal or Italy this summer – this dress is perfection.
