Happy Friday! It was an intense week for me. I flew home from London and dove straight into unpacking, unboxing loads of packages for a variety of work projects, had a brand shoot, four doctor’s appointments and am deep in the midst of finishing taxes for myself and for my business while also finalizing the Spring PDF (launching next week!!) Oh, and I leave again next week so this weekend will be spent repacking and outfit planning. Phew!
I hope you enjoy this week’s edits and have a wonderful weekend!
The Weekly Edit 3.6.26
WHAT I DID THIS WEEK:
- It was so nice to get back to some home cooked meals this week. I made this Sheet Pan Moroccan Chicken and it was a 10/10. Easy and delicious.
- I had the pleasure of meeting Tata Harper and doing an informative masterclass with her in celebration of the brand’s new Crème Supreme which I’m looking forward to testing.
- I completely updated the Under $100 category of The Shop and I have to say I found so many good looking gems!!
READ + LOOK + LOVE:
- Christian Louboutin’s fairytale garden in Brittany, France that you can visit. Oui, please.
- New York’s best smashburgers, ranked.
- Paris’ ugliest building is going to get a makeover. (FINALLY!)
- 36 hours in Normandy.
- How to turn casual friends into closer friends.
- The growing trend of hotel bakeries. (I just visited this one in London last month!)
- Where to travel in France and England this summer.
SHOP AND LOOK LOVINGLY:
- I loved seeing what so many London girls were wearing. Woven bags like this (I’ve owned this one in ecru for two years) and this and those from this brand were everywhere, as was this trench coat (I recommend you size down at least one size – I own it in a size 4 in two colors), I saw so many Coach shoulder bags while on the Tube, loads of Sambas and Gazelles with wide leg jeans like these or these, baseball caps and then straight leg, slightly cropped jeans like this pair and this pair paired with loafers like these or these.
- Speaking of woven bags, this little Bottega bag for Spring and Summer would be so, so good.
- And this Toteme pouch is such a chic run out the door carry-all. Also loving this trench from the brand.
- I have the Hermes Oran sandals in a beautiful ecru color and saw that Margaux just released their similar sandal in a creamy latte color – would be so good for summer! And alert!! New shades of my forever favorite sandals! I want the dune color in these, too and the new suede is also beautiful!? Decisions, decisions. These sandals are so comfortable.
- I remain obsessed with the Clarins Lip Perfector. I now have two shades and I used them every day while in London last month. Can’t recommend this gloss enough.
- And in other lip products to love – Westman Atelier kindly sent me their new Hydrobalm Tinted Lipsticks and they are soooo nice. I loved shade English Rose and Ballerine. If you’re interested – I would recommend buying this set that also includes a coordinating lip liner. I really love her lip liners and wear them often.
- Dorsey just introduced 2MM riviere pieces and they are beautiful. I immediately ordered this necklace because I wear my favorite Dorsey pieces constantly.
- It’s trench season baby and I am loving the cool, modern details on this one and this one I saw recently.
- Last call to shop the Seasonal Favorites Fall-Winter selection in The Shop! I’ll be changing it over to Spring-Summer next week!
- Shopbop has some great dresses loading for Spring. Favorites I spotted when updating my Shopbop Hearts this week included this one, this one and this one.
- Suri just gave me a limited time code if you want to try the travel toothbrush + handy disinfecting case I love and have shared HERE – use code WITWHIMSY10 for 10% off.
- Dermstore is doing their beauty refresh sale offering 20% off most everything. As such I gave my What to Buy at the Dermstore Sale guide a refresh for you if you’d like help selecting some great items to shop at a discount!
