Ciao from Italy! I am (mostly) out of office. I visited a new-to-me country earlier this week but was mostly chained to my laptop unable to enjoy the destination but I did my best! I know it’ll be worth it in the end. I have a variety of posts here, on The Noteworthy Edit and on Instagram all scheduled to go live so you can continue to check in for content from me 🙂
I hope you enjoy this week’s edit and have a wonderful weekend!
The Weekly Edit 9.4.26
WHAT I DID THIS WEEK:
- I updated one of my favorite posts I do every year – Things in My Closet I Can’t Wait to Wear This Fall. It always gets me ready to dive into my fall wardrobe. (FWIW I couldn’t do posts like this if I didn’t continue to invest in elevated basics and quality items that I wear year after year!)
- Celebrated the five year anniversary of buying my first home!
- I shared my first snaps of my time in Greece on Instagram and more over on Substack Notes, too.
READ + BOOKMARK:
- The best hotels in the Hamptons.
- Fall essentials you’ll wear on repeat.
- The Vogue guide to Los Angeles.
- Little yet thoughtful ways to save money.
- What to wear for travel days.
- Everything we know about the final season of Emily in Paris.
- How to style colorful sneakers.
- Cocktail ideas for the final weeks of summer.
- Sézane Went From Chloé to Céline—and Everyone Is Freaking Out (I, for one, did not freak out – it felt very on brand to me and fresh for the new season. I bought four pieces immediately from the newness. I was also never into the extra-boho pieces FWIW).
NOTEWORTHY SALES TO SHOP:
- Ring Concierge is 20% off which means you can score the new ring I haven’t taken off since I got it on sale (it’s so good!) as well as the diamond tennis bracelet I wear every day on sale as well.
- Farmacy Beauty is doing 25% off sitewide for Labor Day which means my forever-favorite cleansing balm is majorly on sale.
- Re-sharing my Mango favorites from last week’s edit as they are now on sale. The brand is running 30% off everything on orders from $230 + free shipping. Use code: MGN30. My favorites include this dress and this dress (they feel very Doen-esque), this cropped trench, this wool coat (the collar!), this affordable dress and this trench.
- M.M.LaFleur is one of my favorite investment brands and they rarely discount so head to their Labor Day sale edit for up to 70% off. It includes the best ever t-shirt that I’ve turned so many of you onto. I wear a M in it.
- Brooklinen is offering 25% off sitewide and up to 50% off their bundles using code LABORDAY26. Get all my favorite bedding that I’ve been loyal to for over 10 years (!!) at a great price now.
- The foundation stick I won’t shut up about is also on sale this weekend. I wear shade Bisque.
NOTEWORTHY FINDS:
- A very good looking alternative to Chanel ballet flats (at 1/4 of the price!) And this pair also looks really good if you want to try the style at a more palatable price point.
- More under $200 finds worth perusing.
- Alex Mill dropped their first Fall new arrivals and they are looking excellent. My favorites include this perfect looking sweater, this skirt and this jacket and this jacket. (I plan to buy this jacket after my friend wore it in Scotland earlier this year – it looked so good on her!)
- Ok the Barbour jackets this season are so, so good. I particularly love this one, this one, this one, this one and this one!
- In other jacket news, loving this one from Ruti. Give me all the suede this Fall season!
- This is my favorite time of year for newness at Vuroi and the latest doesn’t disappoint. This new fleece and this jacket both look up my alley and I’m loving the brown color of these leggings and the new colors of one of my favorite sweatshirts.
- A new Agolde jean style I fear I’ll need!
- Friendly reminder that one of my favorite coats of the last 4 years is officially back in stock (and will sell out before winter arrives!) I have it in navy and in black in size S as it runs oversized.
- If you were part of the cult of *the pants* from J.Crew several years back (IYKYK!) then you may also be interested in their newest Essential Trouser they just dropped. I am curious about the fabric in particular but the fit looks like it’ll be similar. I wore a size 8 in the other style and am definitely going to try these in the coming weeks so I’ll report back if they’re as good!
