Happy Friday from London! I’m here for a few days scouting for London, Perfected and taking in the festive season.
I have been battling a cold, bouncing around from town to town and barely keeping my head above water this trip. So I am ready to head home after a long, productive and really amazing time despite feeling under the weather. I am looking forward to a weekend of no plans, sleeping in my own bed and catching up on life. And I feel as though I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel of busy season and I am so looking forward to finishing up my final deliverables for the year.
I hope you enjoy this week’s edit and have a wonderful weekend!
The Weekly Edit 12.8
WHAT I DID THIS WEEK:
- Spent time in Lyon, Marseille and then flew to London for the week!
- Curated new recommendations for London, Perfected clients in 2024!
READ + LOOK + LOVE:
- A historic bucket list hotel to add to your list!
- Ways to romanticize your life this winter.
- Netflix series to consider watching.
- The best places to travel in 2024. What spots on your list!?
- New York holiday moments not to miss.
- Christmas movie locations you can visit in real life.
SHOP AND LOOK LONGINGLY:
- I just placed an order from Sezane for some of their new collection that had so many gems in it! I bought this sequin skirt (I always size up to an 8 in their skirts), this cardigan jacket (sized up to a L) and this sweater (in a M after the S was too small) and I am also loving this coat, this sweater, this new soft gray color of one of my favorite sweaters (it runs large – I own the S in two colors), this dress for party season, this blouse and the new black-with-gold-buttons version of my favorite sweater jacket.
- I am fully into tea season and am so happy to be reunited with my favorite tea kettle. I am notorious for boiling water and forgetting about it so I love that this keeps it warm to your preferred temperature…even when you have forgotten about it 🙂
- This week J.Crew has up to 60% off cold weather styles, plus 30% off almost everything else. Use code SALETIME.
- I was spotted wearing my Sambas (sized down to 6.5) on Instagram while in Europe and got a bunch of messages about what jeans and socks I was wearing with them so going to share more broadly: my favorite ankle crop Agolde Riley jeans and these great socks – perfect for sneakers.
- My favorite travel umbrella has been getting a workout while overseas. Can’t recommend it enough!
- Been wearing these J.Crew boots so much since getting them as part of this project. The heel height is perfect, they are so comfy and the calf shaft is roomy enough so they don’t slouch.
- This cashmere turtleneck dress is so good. Looks very similar to one I own from several years ago.
- One of my favorite sweaters is restocked! I have the camel/navy in a size Large (I wanted it a bit oversized/slouchy). Eyeing the new navy/white next…
HELLO, HOLIDAYS!:
- If you need gifts for the guys in your life, I highly recommend you check out Sezane’s menswear brand Octobre. So many stylish items for them.
- The Veronica Beard x Petite Plume pajama collab would make a chic gift.
- This Diptyque carrousel candle is just too charming!
- My BFF got me this beautiful Baccarat ring dish for Christmas last year and I think it would make such a great gift for anyone you know who may have gotten engaged this year.
- Holiday gift ideas for your favorite New Yorker!
- Loving this chic domino set as a gift idea.
- Personalized traveler gifts right this way.
- So many cute pieces for your favorite little ones.
