Without fail, the last several decades of my life I have been shopping J.Crew every holiday season. I always look forward to seeing their festive pieces that have you excited to get dressed up and hit the town. And I have to say, this year’s holiday collection may just be one of their best yet.
Holiday Outfit Inspiration with J.Crew
This is the time of year I think I have the most fun getting dressed. I embrace feathers, sequins, faux fur, satin and velvet more than any other time of year and J.Crew always delivers.
I am thrilled to once again be working with J.Crew to share my edit of their holiday collection alongside two looks I picked out to style for the holiday occasions on my own calendar this season.
My first look had to be about this sequin skirt. I love a midi skirt and these gold sequins are just.so.fun! It also comes in silver if that is more of your vibe. I am wearing a size 6.
I paired it with this bustier top that has such a flattering fit and I love the stretch satin it is made out of. The best part about it is its cropped fit so it is perfect for pairing with high waisted trousers and skirts where you don’t want to deal with excess bulk trying to tuck something in and have it lay right. I got the Black in size 8 but it also comes in a beautiful ivory.
I topped off the outfit with J.Crew’s beautiful new Palais topcoat. This is a really elegant topper to any outfit this season. I love the length of it, the Italian wool fabric and the super subtle design elements that make it so sleek. I’m wearing it in a size 6 but think it runs a bit big.
And these boots! They are so chic and so comfortable. I know I am going to get so much wear out of them thanks to the practical heel height and timeless silhouette. For a more playful moment, I added this feather bag to complete the look.
I love feminine takes on menswear and so when I saw this J.Crew Collection Tuxedo Blazer in Italian wool with a contrasting lapel – I knew I wanted to have a suiting moment this holiday season. I can’t wait to take this look out on the town for a show this holiday season and then to drinks at a favorite holiday bar like Bemelmans Bar at The Carlyle. I’m wearing a size 6 in the blazer and it also comes in a reversing contrast color combination as well.
The blazer is paired with the matching yet contrasting Italian Wool Pleated Wide Leg Pant. These pants have such a beautiful fit to them and I absolutely love the fabric they come in. I’m wearing a size 6 in them.
I selected these beautiful satin heels and these earrings to complete the look.
I hope these two looks inspire you as you get dressed for your holiday occasions this season! Below you’ll find even more pieces I am loving from the brand for festive gatherings.
