I can hardly believe we’ve come to the last Weekly Edit of the year! I still remember sitting down to write the first one of 2023 having decided to rename my long running Weekly Roundup series to The Weekly Edit. 2023 sure flew by didn’t it? I have just one blog post left for the year – my annual after Christmas sales roundup – and then this year I will publish my Year in Review post exclusively to my newsletter subscribers. Given its personal nature, I have decided to no longer publish it on witwhimsy.com. 

You know those times where you really feel you’re failing at life? I’m in one right now. I feel I am treading water and am anxiously awaiting next week when I think I can finally tie up some year end to dos and begin to look towards my (long) January to do list. I am going to work really hard to bake in some R&R for myself this month given how run down I have felt of late. I have a big, big launch coming in January that I need to begin prepping for and I have officially booked my first trip overseas for next month as well (!)

The Weekly Edit 12.15

WHAT I DID THIS WEEK:

• I returned home from 2+ weeks overseas and nearly a month of feeling sick. I headed straight to the doctor, got a z pack and slept A LOT. It was so needed. I can’t tell you how good it is to be home. 
• Made one of my all time favorite comfort meals. See also: My Go-To Recipes.
• I gave one last refresh to this year’s Holiday Shop if you’re still gift hunting!
• Saw the Nutcracker with my friend Carly as part of our annual holiday outing tradition!
• Had the loveliest afternoon tea with Sarah Flint who I so admire. She’s built an amazing brand and I am so proud to work with them.
• Caught up with my friend Alicia. It is always the best when she comes back to town!
