It was a good, cozy and cold week at home. Jetlag kind of wrecked me this past week to be honest – it felt way more brutal than usual. So battling that while also attempting to play catch up on work was challenging. I’ve been having so much fun seeing what En Route to Rêverie orders come in the past two weeks and we’re implementing a variety of new systems and processes to improve our client experience this year so it has been busy, busy behind the scenes over here. I am also getting started planning my next overseas trip and getting geared up for that!
But this week I also got to spend time catching up with friends and this weekend I have my friend Alicia in town and I’m so happy to have her here.
I hope you enjoy this week’s edit and have a wonderful weekend!
The Weekly Edit 2.16
WHAT I DID THIS WEEK:
- I finally put together what I packed for my recent three week Europe trip in the winter – you can shop what I packed HERE and HERE.
- I made these delicious Oatmeal Scotchies cookies.
- Shared one of the coolest things I’ve ever done in France and what I brought home from France this past trip.
- I booked my vacation for the year at last! I am going to do a few days in Rome and Florence in September so please send any recs you love my way!
READ + LOOK + LOVE:
- Vintage stores in Paris to bookmark. (My personal favorite for luxury vintage I share with En Route to Rêverie clients didn’t make the list!)
- Inside a dermatologist’s beauty routine.
- The best romance books of 2024 so far.
- Adding this new series about Dior to my watch list ASAP.
- The restorative power of small habits. I am such a believer in this!
- Spotlight on newness in Los Angeles – bookmarking this for my next trip.
- Last weekend I got to show my three year old niece Paris for the first time. It resulted in some of my most treasured memories ever.
SHOP AND LOOK LOVINGLY:
- J.Crew is doing 30% off your purchase & extra 50% off *all* sale styles with code SHOPNOW this weekend! Their new arrivals have some gems including new colors of my favorite sweater jacket (size up! I wear a L), this darling tee, this timeless button down, this sweater I wore HERE, my hooded trench coat, these ballet flats, this classic denim jacket, this chic sweater tee, this elegant sweater dress and these jeans. The brand also recently sent me these bestselling knit pants and they are great! Comfy yet put together. I got the size 6.
- The first signs of Spring are officially in The Shop! I got very excited curating this and can’t wait to begin purchasing some of these items myself.
- Some great recent finds from Shopbop all curated HERE.
- January’s Bestsellers are now live!
- Meet my new favorite eye mask. So good at blocking out light and lightweight!
- As part of the new year, I refreshed and restocked my underwear drawer by purchasing a bunch more of my favorite thongs from Harper Wilde and EBY. I also decided to order the High Waisted Thong from EBY to try it and I *love* it. Holds in and smooths out the exact parts you want for underneath jeans, skirts and dresses.
- Adding this new transitional Sezane jacket to my wish list!
- Hill House just launched their Spring collection and there are so many pretty pieces! I particularly love the new navy polka dot version of the Matilda Dress that I own.

If you enjoy food tours, look up Sophie Minchilli for your trip to Rome. http://www.sophieminchilli.com
The best food tour I’ve ever been on!
Re Rome: Check out Elizabeth Minchilli (mother) & Sophie Minchilli (daughter) on IG. That will have links to their other sites. They are based in Rome & Umbria. Which is where their food (but so much more!) tours started out, but have expanded afield, especially to less congested areas.
Also check out their books: Eating Rome, Eating my way thru Italy & The sweetness of doing nothing.
Gillian Knows Best (substack) also has lists & recommendations for Rome, Venice, lots of beaches, etc.
