It was a beautiful week at home. I spent last weekend switching over my closet (largely doing a clean out following these guidelines, too) and tidying my home alongside unpacking. It felt like a nice little home refresh. I enjoyed the gorgeous spring weather we were gifted with for a few days, have been catching up with friends and overall loving spending time at home in New York while still sifting through loads of photos and videos I have to share from my recent London and Paris adventures.
I have some really fun partnerships in my pipeline that I can’t wait to share soon and I am also so excited for next week’s Sezane event that I am hosting and can’t wait to welcome those of you who grabbed the 35 spots!
I hope you enjoy this week’s edit and have a wonderful weekend!
The Weekly Edit 4.19
WHAT I DID THIS WEEK:
- I made this delicious Lemon Chicken Meatballs and Creamy Orzo recipe.
- Curated March’s bestsellers! I always love seeing what you guys loved each month.
- Shared a look at my amazing stay at the iconic Hotel Le Meurice in Paris. Contact me if interested in booking it for your next trip to Paris!
- I started and finished Rebecca Serle’s latest novel Expiration Dates and really enjoyed it. Her books aren’t always massive favorites of mine but I do enjoy the suspension of reality she employs in her romantic storytelling. Definitely a good spring read if you’re looking for book recs! Related: More books I have enjoyed.
- Shared some of my best career advice I can give.
- Saw Sweeney Todd on Broadway before it closed and had an amazing meal at I SODI beforehand!
READ + LOOK + LOVE:
- How to battle imposter syndrome.
- I can’t wait to read Emily Henry’s latest novel when it drops next week. I already pre-ordered it to my Kindle!
- Habits to quit in order to feel better.
- What I brought home from Paris.
- Networking tips for introverts.
- Vrbo’s Vacation Rentals of the Year – these properties were so fun to browse!! Would you book any of them?
SHOP AND LOOK LOVINGLY:
- I was so excited to style and share some of my favorites from the new arrivals at M.M.LaFleur while I was in London! You can shop each of the looks by commenting LONDON on this Instagram post or you can shop them over on LTK. Use code WIT&WHIMSY20 for 20% off your first order, too!
- After a year long search to find a long, thin black robe I am amazed that this $34 one on Amazon was the winner. I wish it went all the way to the floor but it checks all my other boxes and even features two ties for the wrap top which at this price point was a nice surprise. It also held up well following washing. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a good robe. I got the size M.
- Loving this new neutral version of everyone’s favorite summer tote from Sezane.
- I absolutely love this top (seen here – size L) and this dress (seen here – size L) that Tuckernuck kindly gifted me. And I spotted so many cute new arrivals on their site of late, too! These sandals, these flats, this bag, this bag (I own it in black from several summers ago) and this one, too, this fun mod dress and this cute and practical hat.
- My obsession with Bash’s little jacket continues. I just picked up this one which has the prettiest summer vibes to it thanks to the navy contrasting trim. I got the size M.
- Just got this tote from Madewell and the ecru color is perfection. I know this is going to get so much use this season. Related: My Bag Collection. I also got these earrings during the Shopbop sale and they are gorgeous. I am working on my next edition of Recent Purchases exclusively for my newsletter subscribers and that’ll hit inboxes in the coming weeks.
- My friend Annie wrote a book! If you love to travel, you can now join me in pre-ordering her book 100 Hotels of a Lifetime. She has worked on this for so many years and I can’t wait to get my copy. I think this would also make a great gift for the travelers in your life.
- I ran to buy the La Ligne Solid Lean Lines sweater in white now that it is finally restocked. It is my most worn sweater by them in the three striped colorways I own. My code MEGHAND10 is good for another month if you want to score 10% off your first purchase with the brand.
- My latest pair of Sarah Flint shoes have made their debut! It is such an honor to continue working with the brand.
- The beautiful linen J.Crew dress I wore here is now 50% off! Recommend sizing up. I have the 8.
