Happy Friday! I’m en route to California to spend the weekend with two of my best friends.  I’m looking forward to celebrating my birthday in one of my happy places on earth and getting some R&R in on a quick trip. Birthdays always make me extra nostalgic. (My annual birthday reflections will land in email subscribers inboxes tomorrow). Anyone else feel that way?

The Weekly Edit 6.14

WHAT I DID THIS WEEK:

• I saw The Outsiders on Broadway and just WOW. It was one of the best shows I’ve ever seen and I already want to see it again. I can’t recommend it enough!
• I curated the May bestsellers! I always love seeing what sells well with you guys! Thank you for trusting my recommendations.
• I made my very favorite summer pasta recipe. I return to this time and time again. So simple, so fresh and so tasty. It has a home forever in My Go-To Recipes.
• I had some wonderful catch ups with friends I hadn’t seen in too long. What a beautiful reminder of the power of enduring friendships it was. 
• I started my French lessons! I finally hired a tutor as I had hoped to this year and I am extremely nervous about it but proud of myself for finally facing my fear and working to improve my skills.

• I didn’t realize until a recent Instagram ad that Minnow makes beautiful women’s swimsuits! Has anyone tried them? I love this one piece and this bikini top and bikini bottoms in particular.
• The Doen new arrivals are stunning for summer! I adore this gingham number and this polka dot one that would be so pretty for a wedding guest this summer, this darling bag, this chic crochet dress, this timeless midi dress and this nautical inspired mini.
• I was feeling a little athleisure refresh and so was delighted to see so many cute new styles at Lululemon. I ordered these shorts, this sports bra, this sports bra, this top and I restocked on my favorite cropped workout tee. Also this exercise dress they have is so cute and I love that it has shorts built in.
• Speaking of exercise dresses, my friend was wearing this Old Navy one the other day and it was so cute! Can’t beat the price either.
