I started my week flying back home from California after a really short but sweet birthday celebration with two of my closest friends in Napa. It was good for the soul to say the least. That being said, I didn’t get home till 2AM Monday night (Tuesday morning!?) so I spent this week feeling rather rough. Which means a weekend at home will be just what the doctor ordered! I’m getting my hair done, watching part two of Bridgerton, going to my favorite yoga class and spending time with family as I work to escape the heat wave that’s been oppressive in NY this week.
I hope you enjoy this week’s edit and have a wonderful weekend!
The Weekly Edit 6.21
WHAT I DID THIS WEEK:
- Shared my summer bucket list!
- Had an amazing meal at One White Street – highly recommend you add it to your NYC list.
- Had my second French lesson!
READ + LOOK + LOVE:

SHOP AND LOOK LOVINGLY:
- Summer heat is upon us and I have been swearing by this One/Size makeup setting spray that majorly, majorly keeps my makeup in place. As a sweaty person this has been essential and I now never travel without the mini size to keep my makeup lacquered on my face all.day.long.
- This Veronica Beard knit jacket I wore here is pretty close to perfection. The ribbed fabric, the buttons and the silhouette – it’s truly a striking piece. And it is now on sale with an extra 25% off! I own the black in a L and bought the ivory as soon as I saw the extra % off!
- Loving these summery sandals. And I’m already ready to order another color of these sandals by the same brand that are so comfortable I can’t stop wearing them.
- This new J.Crew dress and the similar style top are too darling for summertime.
- Two new *excellent* Amazon find of mine – this swimsuit (the compression on it is so good and the neckline so flattering!) and this chic crochet coverup that looks more expensive than it is. I got an 8 in the swimsuit and a M in the coverup. I’ll likely buy more colors in both tbh. (The swimsuit is also available at Nordstrom if you’d prefer to shop there!)
- If you’re a lover of glassware like I am, you’ll also enjoying the beautiful selection Food52 offers. And I always love perusing their vintage selection on site, too!
- For my fellow rosé lovers, a new book to enjoy: The Book of Rosé. (This would make such a cute gift when paired with a bottle of Chateau Miraval I think!?)
- I own this matching sweatshirt and shorts in both black and white and I’ve been living in the set. It’s perfect for WFH days and for post-shower, pre-pajamas. I own the M in both pieces.
- Banana Republic’s latest arrivals are so great. I am loving this camera bag, this linen tank, this easy, breezy chic dress, this tote that has Khaite vibes, this linen dress, this beautiful dress that has my name all over it and these sandals.
- I love this darling under $100 linen mini from Reformation. The gingham in particular is so cute!
- This brand makes some of my favorite affordable jewelry and they have so many beautiful new arrivals at Nordstrom.
- I’m not usually a fan of mini dresses but I just ordered this one! I always size up in this brand.
- This ladylike midi dress is so beautiful and from one of my favorite affordable brands Nordstrom carries.
- If you’re in need of a stunner of a white dress this summer – may I suggest this one? I size up in this brand’s dresses.
- One of my favorite fun bags is now majorly on sale! I adore this one for nights out and for the holidays.
- One of my favorite cleansers for smoother, brighter skin is 25% off this weekend only! This brand rarely discounts.
