Following the launch of The Holiday Shop last week, gift guide season has officially arrived on wit & whimsy and today I’m debuting with one of the most popular guides I do: What I want for Christmas! This is a compilation of everything on my personal wish list right now. (You may notice some items from my Spring Wish List & Fall Wish List).
I don’t need any of these things – they are more nice to haves of course and rather are just items I’ve considered purchasing and may do so later this year or in 2025 – we’ll see! But I hope it inspires you and gives you some good gift ideas as holiday shopping officially gets underway.
What Meghan Wants for Christmas
1. Savette Pochette Bag
This brand has been on my radar for years and their sleek, sophisticated bags are so my style. This one in particular is a showstopper and so striking.
2. Jenni Kayne Candle
Jenni Kayne makes some of my favorite candles (Cedar, Cassis and Topanga being in regular rotation for me) and the new Vail one with notes of ginger and clove sounds perfectly cozy for the months ahead.
You can use my code MEGHANDONO15 for 15% off your Jenni Kayne order and they are doing a buy four; get one free promo so you could save on gift-giving them. (The two promos may not be combinable FYI!)
3. Pave Pinky Ring
One of my girlfriends wears a diamond pinky ring every day and whenever I see her it just looks so good. It elevates any outfit and I like the idea of having a little bit of dainty sparkle. This might be a gift to myself at the end of the year!
4. Eres Swimsuit
I’ve heard amazing things about this brand for so many years and keep meaning to try on this suit that everyone raves about when I am in Paris but regularly forget. I’ve heard the material is so well made and the suit so flattering.
5. Isabel Marant Boots
I saw this boot style alllll over Paris on my most recent trip and they are unlike any style I already have in my boot collection.
Also eyeing this pair that is a bit less pricey and from a brand I own and like.
6. Alex Mill Striped Paris Jacket
A classic sweater jacket which chic stripes and aptly named the “Paris Jacket”.
7. Heaven Mayhem Watch
The look of a Cartier but at a much more attainable price point. It looks beautiful, right?
8. Dorsey Lab Grown Drop Earrings
I love, love, love the Dorsey pieces I have. They feel special but understated.
I don’t have a ton of earrings I can reach for on dressier occasions and I think these have such a beautiful vintage feel to them that make them just seem as though they should be passed down for generations.
9. Jenni Kayne Satin Slingbacks
How fun are these satin slingbacks? They’d be perfect for pairing with jeans and a great blazer. They could also pair well with a little black dress, too.
10. Rag & Bone Barn Jacket
How chic is this barn jacket? Rag & Bone makes such timeless pieces and I love how this coat instantly makes you want to enjoy a countryside long weekend.
11. Ayede Kate Boots
I have another pair of boots by this brand and they are beautiful quality. A friend told me this pair is oh so comfortable and I like that you could dress them up or down.
12. Demellier Paris Crossbody
I recently added the darling Demellier Paris top handle bag to my bag collection and now am eyeing this gorgeous suede shoulder bag / crossbody style they have.
13. Toteme Double Breasted Wool Coat
Ever since seeing my friend Alicia wear this in Paris a few years ago it has been on my wish list. I bought a similar style from Massimo Dutti but as expected after lots of wear it looks like…it’s been worn a lot.
I’ve tried this coat on in store even and it is beautiful. So I think this may be the season I finally pull the trigger before it sells out again in advance of Winter as it did last year. I looked for it in Paris last month so I could save a bit of money on it but didn’t luck out so may need to just bite the bullet at long last.
14. Rhode Barrier Butter
I love a thick cream for when my skin is feeling extra sensitive and given how much I love the Rhode Lip Balm, I have my eye on testing out their newest product, this Barrie Butter.
15. Jenni Kayne Chocolate Cashmere Fisherman Sweater
This style of sweater is one of my absolute most worn in my collection of cashmere. They newly released this gorgeous chocolate brown and it went straight to the top of my wish list. You can see all my favorite JK pieces in my Jenni Kayne Apparel Review and use code MEGHANDONO15 to score 15% off.

Those boots are amazing!
Aren’t they so gorgeous!?
Love my Kindle so much! I sprung for a new Paperwhite on Prime Day as well (I had been using a really old Kindle Fire) and it’s amazing. Also I love all the dainty jewelry! So cute.
So good to hear! Mine hasn’t arrived yet but I’m excited to get it!
Re watches: I have a pre-owned Cartier Tank Francaise and the Longines Dolce Vita with the red strap. I like them both equally. IMO the allure of the Tank is about the curved case and beautifully designed steel bracelet, which the Tank Must doesn’t have. The Longines has a more beautiful dial with the guilloche texture. The Tank Must seems to be riding on Cartier’s reputation, but if you want a Cartier watch, that’s what you want. (Note that these are both quartz watches, and for the price of the Cartier watch, you could easily buy a Longines automatic watch. My favorite and daily watch is a Longines automatic.)
This is helpful, Amy! Thank you so much for the watch wisdom.
I love my Oura ring and think you will love it. It helped me so much on my better sleep journey.
thank you for telling me!!
Would love to hear how you like the Dorsey earrings! I bought them hoping to LOVE them, and loved them off, but they didn’t fall right when I was wearing them for whatever reason. I don’t know if it was my ears or the earrings ha, but they faced/tilted downward too much to look beautiful on. So annoying! Hope you have better luck!
Will report back if I end up getting them!
You should definitely pull the trigger on the Savette bag. I got the chocolate brown version with the adjustable strap a few months ago and LOVE it. I was particularly impressed with the leather quality. I’m hard on my bags and this one really resists scratches.
I am so happy to hear this! Thank you for weighing in, Camille!
