Last year my 2020 wish list was a really popular post so I thought I’d share another this year. These items are ones I plan and hope to buy this year. I’m prioritizing investment pieces, clean beauty I want to test and items I know will get tons of use this year and for many years to come.
My 2021 Wish List:
La Ligne Mini Marin Sweater.
I absolutely love the first La Ligne sweater I got and this Mini Marin striped sweater is so me and I know would get a lot of use. I plan to add it to my collection this year. I wear my investment sweaters so, so much and can see this sweater getting loads of use in my Paris wardrobe especially.
Chanel Classic Flap Bag.
I’ve waited for years to buy this bag. If I can get to Paris this year I think it’ll finally be the time I bite the bullet and use some of my savings.
Maria Tash Diamond Studs.
I want to finally begin upping my earring game this year. I don’t wear much else when it comes to jewelry except dainty earrings and dainty rings so rotating them out more often is a priority of mine.
iPhone 12 Pro.
I am part of the Apple Upgrade program so I plan to upgrade to the newest iPhone at some point this year. I currently have (and love) the 11 Pro but am excited to try the new 12 Pro.
Jenni Kayne Shearling Mule.
These shoes may not be the most practical looking but I just love them whenever I see someone else wearing them. Given half my wardrobe would go with them – I plan t finally make them mine this year.
Lululemon Scuba Fleece Joggers.
Never not wearing joggers and these look so cozy! I’ve heard great things about them.
Athleta Ultra High Rise Elation Tight.
I adore my Athleta Elation tights so I want to try the Ulta High Rise ones. I size down to a Small.
NuFace.
Several of my friends rave about this tool for lifting and sculpting. I’ve seen some amazing before and afters! And since I am actively avoiding doing any Botox or other cosmetic procedures, I want to try this tool this year. I know last year it was part of the Nordstrom Sale so I’ll likely buy it then if it is included again this year.
Alpyn Beauty Wild Huckleberry 8-Acid Polishing Peel.
I keep hearing that this clean peel is amazing and given I love trying out new, female founded clean brands, this is on my list to try this year.
EleVen by Venus Williams Unrivaled Sun Serum SPF 35.
I am always trying out new mineral sunscreens. I have and love this Supergoop one as my go-to but I like trying new ones to have additional ones in my rotation.
Kinship Self Reflect Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 32.
Another mineral sunscreen I’m looking to test out this year.
Tower 28 ShineOn Milky Lip Jelly.
I tried this brand out last year and it was pretty good. Given I love “your lips but better” products – I want to try this bestseller by the brand.
Westman Atelier Blender Brush.
People say this brush is amazing. I have loved nearly everything I’ve tried by this brand and as I haven’t yet found the perfect applicator for their Vital Stick Foundation – I want to try this brush with it.
Kjaer Weis Invisible Touch Liquid Foundation.
I love testing out clean base products and this one has great reviews.
OUAI Volume Spray.
I’ve heard great things about this volume spray and given my hair has thinned and fallen out due to the stress of the last year, my strands could definitely use some added oomph.
Westman Atelier Lip Suede.
I’ve seen this lip compact demo’d on Instagram and it looks amazing. I’m not wearing a ton of pigmented lip products these days except to shoot but as I plan to do a full review of the Westman Atelier line at some point this year – I’m going to purchase this to test it out and see if it’s worth the hype.
Kosas The Sun Show Moisturizing Baked Bronzer.
A beauty editor friend of mine said this baked bronzer is amazing. I have a clean bronzer I love but it is a bit more matte so I’m looking forward to trying this one.
A few more items on my wish list this year:
Jenni Kayne Fisherman Sweater.
I live in my cashmere crewneck sweaters and I’m curious to know if this brand’s cashmere is worth the price tag and the hype I hear about.
TASCHEN Dior Books.
Dior is a favorite French label of mine and these books look just gorgeous to browse and then decorate with.
Alison Lou Baguette Earring.
The moment I saw this dainty, darling baguette earring I knew I had to have it! So on brand, right!?
Senreve Alluna Bag.
This bag looks chic yet practical. I love that it can be worn multiple ways!
Sweaty Betty All Day Leggings.
My leggings have been getting so much wear and I love Sweaty Betty so this popular pair of theirs is on my list to try out.
Sezane Scott Trench Coat.
I have one trench coat I love but it is a bit more stylized so I want to add this classic French trench coat to my rotation.
Lowe Raffia Tote.
The perfect size for all summer long.
The Curated Coat.
I love the gorgeous camel color of this coat. A friend has it and it looks so flattering and beautiful on. I’m looking forward to adding it to my Winter coat collection.

What are you looking to buy this year? I’d love to hear in the Comments!
p.s. my 2021 goals and priorities and my 2020 (revised) wish list.
The Chanel medium flap bag is on my wish list too!! I hope I’m lucky enough to travel to Paris and buy this purse at 31 Rue Cambon. I think buying it there would make it extra special.
Absolutely agree about Rue Cambon!! The *white shopping bag*!
Yes to the Chanel!! I’ve been eyeing that one for years, and am seriously considering making that a treat to myself for making in through the pandemic solo.
omg THIS. We deserve it for sure!!
Oh my gosh.. a getting through the pandemic solo gift!! Yes to this!
Right!? A brilliant idea!
Love the list!
Did you ever get the Mason Pearson Hair brush?
Would be interested in hearing what you got from last year and how you value it/use it!
I hope you get to Paris ASAP.
It’s top of my list for when we can travel to Europe again…
Not yet! But am finally going to get it this year – will definitely report back!
Hi, love your list. Thanks for introducing me to The Curated. What beautiful investment pieces at a reasonable price point considering the quality. Love your blog and appreciate all your recommendations.
So glad you enjoyed the post and thank you so much for the beautiful words, Julie – they mean a lot to me!
The Kjaer Weis foundation is a beautiful finish! Fun list.
Thrilled to hear this! Can’t wait to try it. Thanks for letting me know!
Love the Chanel bag idea! That’s been on my wishlist too for probably 10+ years, but they’re just so darn expensive. It’s a smart move to buy it in Europe where they’re a little bit cheaper though…plus how cool would it be to be able to say that you bought a Chanel bag in Paris?
Totally agree- it’s why I’ve never bit the bullet! But I’ve been saving and think I’m finally ready. I don’t buy designer often so all my designer purchases are very special and usually to mark certain accomplishments or occasions!
That’s a smart way to approach it! As far as fashion investments go, Chanel bags are also a pretty solid purchase; they only get more and more expensive every year, so if you ever decided to resell it for whatever reason, you’d probably be able to get all your money back (if not even more!). I hope it works out for you sometime in 2021 – you’ve earned it 🙂
After a year+ of no travel, making that long-awaited trip to Paris, getting your Chanel will be even more special than it would have already been ? Also I upgraded to the iPhone 12 Pro and noticed a big change with the camera! ? Thanks for sharing your wishlist and the inspo ?
I totally agree! I’ve waited for so long to make this purchase so I’ll be so happy to mark a special trip in Paris with this purchase!
Chanel will forever be on my wish list! What size bag do you think you’ll go for? I’m torn between the medium and jumbo! Also love that baguette ? stud, so cute!
Right!? I’ve looked at it in Paris for so many years but never bitten the bullet. I would go with the medium!
