Happy Friday! I am off on my first trip to Europe this weekend and it is going to be a good one! I’m going to two bucket list hotels, testing out several others and have an itinerary that is making me say “pinch me” more than once (En Route to Rêverie Substack subscribers will get more details in their inbox early next week).
As I’m sure you can imagine, it takes a lot of preparation for these trips but it is so worth it and I have to say, I have so enjoyed my slow start to the new year. Last year this time I had just launched the rebrand of my travel company and I was underwater. This winter, I got to nest and savor the cozy season in so many ways. But I am ready to start my year of adventure and truly so excited for what the next few weeks hold.
This week was really fun because I launched my first ever group trip to France! I’ve been asked to do this sort of thing for ages and I always turn down the opportunity. But when my friends at Atlas Adventures asked if I’d like to co-host their Provence x Riviera trip this September, I decided to review the itinerary and I just *knew* it would be perfect for my community. We are still reviewing applications (so you can still apply!) but if you opted in check your spam to see if you were approved and to pay your deposit!! I’m excited to head to one of my favorite parts of the world with some of you and show you why I love it!
I hope you enjoy this week’s edit and have a wonderful weekend!
The Weekly Edit 2.21
WHAT I DID THIS WEEK:
- I made Broma Bakery’s Carmelitas and omg they were so good. Maybe one of my best bakes ever – highly recommend.
- I updated my ShopMy page with the items I own. (It isn’t quite as comprehensive as The Shop here on our site and doesn’t have size guidance so I will continue to prioritize The Shop here on w&w FYI!)
- And I also fully updated my Shopbop Hearts for you guys to browse!
- I had an *amazing* meal at The Snail in Brooklyn this week. Highly recommend you add to your list!
READ + LOOK + LOVE:
- A new fun Paris book to pre-order if you love to eat in the city.
- The Napoleon Apartments at the Louvre are one of my favorite parts of the museum. It was so fun to watch how the team recently restored them!
- How to see DIOR artisans at work the next time you are in Paris.
- The best bakeries in NYC.
- Unofficial rules for confidence.
- Get to know the women of SNL.
- How to create a sense of home anywhere.
- Beauty destinations in NYC to bookmark.
NOTEWORTHY FINDS TO SHOP:
- Lots of newness in The Shop! I’ve made additions to the Under $100, Spring-Summer and Noteworthy categories!
- Lake makes some of my favorite pajamas and robes and lounge sets (and I love to gift their products, too!) and their annual sale ends tonight! They rarely discount so don’t miss this promo.
- This is a very chic journal if you’re in the market.
- I love the new Ritz Paris x Frame green hat!
- This belt looks like my Celine one that I adore but for about 1/3 of the price.
- The new slingbacks from Everlane are so chic.
- J.Crew brought back this bestselling shirtdress I own from last year! I have the size 6.
- These gold knot earrings have become fast favorites. I love wearing them when paired with my low buns in particular.
- The LaLigne Colby pants in black satin are finally restocked! I have the M and I had to have them hemmed. (I am 5’5″).
- Speaking of restocks, this bag I have owned for years and it only ever comes back in stock momentarily at the onset of Spring before selling out again is BACK! Grab it while you can.
- Now on major markdown – this stellar tuxedo blazer I own from Veronica Beard. It’s so striking in person. I got it in an 8. See it on HERE.
- If you’re a bride this spring or summer wow wow wow to this dress that would be so good for one of your occasions!
- Oh la la – the new Westman Atelier Bronzing Drops look so good!
- Ok I am *in love* with the J.Crew and The New Yorker collab collection!
