I’ll be out of office next week but have some content teed up over on The Noteworthy Edit during my absence and of course the weekly edit will be published next week as always. I’ve also added some additional content to the below ICYMI section that you may enjoy browsing while I’m on vacation!
This is my annual vacation where I try to truly be unplugged and not work. It’s always a big effort being self employed but I am so excited and feeling ready for some good downtime.
I hope you enjoy this week’s edit (it’s a packed one!) and have a wonderful weekend!
Weekly Edit 8.29.25
WHAT I DID THIS WEEK:
- I unveiled my 40 in 40 list!
- The Fall-Winter Seasonal Favorites Shop is officially live! I update this weekly throughout the season.
- Worked on a variety of trips for En Route to Rêverie clients! We’re finalizing all of our client trips happening October-December at the moment. We’ve recently had a lot of Accommodation requests for this Fall in Paris and we’re already working on several spring trips to London and across France. We’ve been busy over on the Atelier’s Substack, too!
- Made these Moroccan Chicken Bowls and they were super flavorful and filling.
- Checked out the new Tuckernuck store that has just opened on Madison Avenue on the UES! It’s big and beautiful and full of fun pieces (many of which can be personalized on site!) Definitely worth a visit.
- I saw Death Become Her on Broadway and it was SUCH a fun show. I laughed out loud so much and the two female leads are truly outstanding. I’d see it again in a heartbeat.
READ + LOOK + LOVE:
- Tracee Ellis Ross on solo travel. I want to watch her show! Have anyone else?
- Relatedly, where to travel solo based on your personality type.
- 8 books to add to your TBR pile according to the NYT.
- How to make life a little nicer.
- On the importance of rest and recharging.
- How successful women cope.
- How to test your fitness level.
- Why it feels like people are more impolite than ever.
NOTEWORTHY SALES TO SHOP:
- J.Crew is doing a big LDW sale with up to 40% off loads of items! This classic bag is included, these fall-ready boots, too as is this swimsuit that my friend who works for the brand says she is obsessed with (color me intrigued!!)
- Jenni Kayne is 20% off nearly everything! If I had to pick favorites it would be this dress I own in multiple colors (size L), this perfect v-neck sweater I’ve gotten loads of wear out of (despite not usually being a V neck girl! size L), my fav cashmere half zip that is the coziest come winter and elevates any legging (size M), this great dress (size L) and these elevated flip flops. See more pieces I own on in my Jenni Kayne Apparel Review.
- Ring Concierge is doing 20% off! A variety of my everyday jewelry pieces are from them including this ring, this ring, this ring and these earrings.
- Brooklinen is 25% off so you can score all my favorite bedding (I’ve been a fan for a decade and never wavered!) on sale.
- Mango has kicked off a 30% off sale when you spend $190 or more. From their new arrivals I am loving this barn jacket, this wool coat, this bag and this bag, this cropped trench, this blazer and this tote.
- A very cute striped sweater for 30% off. Also on sale at Shopbop – a lot of La Ligne!!
- One of my most worn Varley pieces is now majorly on sale. As are these great trousers. I have size M in both.
- Sarah Flint is doing their best sale of the year – 25% off sitewide which means you can grab one of my favorite pairs of these investment shoes at a great discount.
- Veronica Beard is offering an additional 20% off sale items and there’s loads of good finds to be found if you know your size in the brand as the items are final sale (I always size up personally).
- Hotel Lobby is doing a buy any diffuser, receive a complimentary refill ($60 value) promo. Their scents are so, so nice with Hamptons being a current favorite.
- OSEA Malibu – my favorite body care brand – is running an End of Summer Offer where you can receive up to $150 worth of free gifts with your purchase!
NOTEWORTHY FINDS TO SHOP:
- Sezane’s first fall drop landed and was, of course, wonderful. The skirt I really wanted sold out so fast so I’m hoping they bring it back so I can snag it but in the meantime I bought this blouse and this blouse, this skirt, this cardigan and these cute socks that will be perfect with boots. Whatever I end up keeping I’ll include in my next edition of Noteworthy Acquisitions.
- Spotted – two of my most worn Vuori pieces – this sweatshirt + coordinated insulated jacket (size M in both) have been restocked for the season! They sold out so fast earlier this year when I grabbed them in January.
- Just bought these Levi’s and love them. And at $98 you can’t beat the price, either. Saving most of my other pre-fall finds for an upcoming edition of Noteworthy Acquisitions over on The Noteworthy Edit!
- In other denim news, these jeans have been a favorite purchase of late and there’s a new fall-ready wash that just was dropped on Shopbop. I have the size 28 as they run a bit slouchy.
- My Shopbop Hearts are all updated! And there are some *very* good coats included! (This one in particular)!
- Excuse me while I already begin to salivate over Toteme’s outerwear for the season ahead. This coat I own by them remains the best coat I’ve ever, ever spent money on. (Size down if you go for it – I sized down two sizes!)
- Spotted a good, more affordable alternative to my Manolo slingbacks I wear a lot.
- Prepare to see cropped trench coats everywhere this season. This one I spotted this week looks darling. (I’m excited to pull out the one I’ve owned since 2023 – see it on in my How to Style a Trench Coat Guide).
