This week was a blur. I was head’s down trying to get so much done before I head overseas next week and yet still I’ll largely be working this weekend as well. On scouting and content trips I have very little time in front of my computer so I try and work in advance as much as possible. I have a lot of good posts teed up while I am away and some newsletter exclusives, too. I’ll also be sharing my trip agenda with those on my En Route to Rêverie newsletter next week. The Sephora sale starts next Friday so keep an eye out for my updated picks Friday and next week I will also be publishing an updated version of my popular Things in My Closet I’ll Be Wearing this Spring post.
I hope you enjoy this week’s edit, have a happy Easter if you’re celebrating and enjoy your weekend!
The Weekly Edit 3.29
WHAT I DID THIS WEEK:
- I started and finished Natasha Lester’s latest novel, The Disappearance of Astrid Bricard and, much like her other books I’ve read, I so enjoyed the cross-section of fashion and French history in her stories. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for a good book to read this Spring. You can also browse other books I’ve enjoyed HERE.
- I started watching The Gentleman and felt meh about it – anyone else? Should I keep watching?
READ + LOOK + LOVE:
- How Paris is getting the city together for the Olympics.
- Would you try the “crookie”?
- How to help battle racing thoughts as you try and go to sleep.
- $1.5 million homes in Paris.
- Great American novels to add to your reading list.
- The most delightful French footrace.
- The best protein bars according to dietitians.
- These biscuits from the New York Times look so delicious. Weekend baking project perhaps?
SHOP AND LOOK LOVINGLY:
- This romper that got so much wear last summer – particularly on hot days – is finally back in stock at Revolve! I sized up to a L. The open back is truly ideal for sweaty summer days and the linen is so lightweight yet doesn’t look like a total mess once worn. You can see it on me HERE.
- The new brown color of the Vuori Halo Essential Dress is so good! I lived in this dress last summer (see it on HERE). I wear a L.
- This past week I rediscovered my love of the Essie TLC polish. It helps strengthen weak nails like mine. It instantly makes your nails look healthier.
- And I also rediscovered my love of my Skin Gym facial massager. It is one of the few things that relieves my TMJ soreness.
- If you need a spring workwear refresh, look no further.
- Everlane just launched a spring essentials sale! It means 25% off cute items like these ballet flats, this chic strapless dress you could dress up or dress down (looks a lot like one I own from & Other Stories!), this easy, breezy linen midi dress, this versatile slip dress, this throw on and go jumpsuit, this classic silk button down and these favorite pairs of jeans I find to fit TTS.
- YAS to Mango again this Spring with great bags! I have found so many gems with them over the years and this season’s do not disappoint. (But speaking of Mango – a word to the wise for you to avoid my mistake – they don’t accept ANY returns on their swimwear. Their return policy is buried and totally deceptive if you ask me and I am currently battling trying to return hundreds of dollars of unused swimwear).
- Speaking of good little bags, I just got this Madewell cutie. Shop the rest of My Bag Collection.
- Also eying this charming little tote from Pamela Munson.
- How cute is the new lady jacket Hill House released?
- It’s your last chance to shop J.Crew biggest sale of the season! Get 40% off all my favorite finds from their Spring collection!
