In my continued pursuit of discovery, I love sourcing affordable pieces from Amazon Fashion to supplement my investment pieces. I most often do this in certain categories – dresses, skirts, athleisure and accessories. Those are often the areas of my wardrobe where I look for the most variety and where I may be willing to experiment a bit more with trend-based pieces. But I’ve also found some great pieces that have also become staples in my wardrobe.
My Best Amazon Fashion Purchases
I find Amazon Fashion rather overwhelming – so much so that I wrote about Tips for Shopping on Amazon Fashion with ideas for navigating shopping there a few years back. I tend to stick to the same brands and I sometimes have as many misses as I have hits in certain months.
What makes it to the blog and my Instagram is just the best of the best. I consider it part of my job to share the finds that are worth it – not just good enough.
So in the spirit of that, I thought I’d share today an updated guide to some of the best of the best that I’ve purchased from Amazon Fashion. The pieces I wear in repeat, have bought in multiple colors or am just really happy with.
1. Oversized, Long Blazer
A good blazer makes me instantly feel put together. I love an oversized black blazer in particular. It’s perfect paired with jeans and sneakers or you can dress it up with leather pants and a silk camisole. I own this one in two colors and think it is great for the price point. 2. The Drop Bell Sleeve Sweater Dress
Given this sweater dress is one of my favorites (I own it in three colors- size L), when I saw the new bell sleeve style in a gorgeous chocolate color I ordered it right away and love it. I also sized up to a L in this style.

3. Tiered Midi Dress
One of my most worn dresses of summer for the last three years running. I elevate it by pairing it with this belt. It’s got a flattering fit and is perfect for hot days. It’s been such a bestseller that it is now available in a lot of colors and patterns. I wear it in a size M but would recommend sizing up if you’re in between sizes.
4. Crochet Dress
I’m glad crochet is still in style this year because it was a favorite of mine for Spring and Summer last year – particularly when I found this gem of a dress. You can see it on me HERE in size M. The dress sold out super fast but is restocked this year – yay!
5. The Drop Sweatshirt + Shorts Set
The fit is so good and I love the quality of the fabric on this set. I have a M in both the white and the black. It comes in a handful of other colors, too. It is what I often reach for when I get out of the shower at night and as I cook dinner, watch TV, etc.
6. Strappy Flat Sandals
You can’t go wrong with a do-it-all strappy flat sandal for your wardrobe for easy beach time and pool time looks. They also will take up so little space in your suitcase for Spring getaways. I just bought these and can vouch for them.
7. Lightweight Quilted Jacket
I’ll admit the imagery on this – and the fact that it took some time to arrive – made me a bit suspect. But in the end I really like it! I like the detail and fit on it and the green color is a great way to add a small dose of color to my largely neutral coat wardrobe.
8. Slip
I hadn’t bought a slip in years but after my two nap dress purchases a few years back as well as some white linen pieces for the season, I needed a new one. I ordered a bunch from Amazon and this one was the winner. I own it in nude and in white for under a lot of summer pieces. I got the M.
9. Daily Ritual Reversible Liner Jacket
On days I am running errands in my neighborhood or on a walk with my family in Fall and Spring, you’ll often spot me in this versatile and yet cozy jacket. I love that it is reversible. I have it in a size M.
10. Packable Lightweight Puffer
An affordable, packable lightweight puffer jacket I also own in a hooded version. My go-to for outdoor workouts and hikes.
11. Strappy Heels
I bought these heels in black two years ago and can vouch that they are comfy and easy to pair with loads of outfits. They’ve been such a popular Amazon Fashion piece that they now come in more than 20 colors! At $50 you could grab more than one color.
12. Waffle Knit Lounge Set
This is a great little set. I’ve gotten so much wear out of it. I also own the long sleeve version that I wear as pajamas. I wear a M in each. The quality is really great and they’ve held up with plenty of washes. My girlfriends and I all bought a version of this set for a girls trip a few years back, too and they all still wear theirs as well.
This brand actually has loads of cute little sets.
13. SPANX Everyday Shaping Longline Bralette
So often bras without underwire aren’t supportive enough for me but this one really holds everything in place while being super comfy, too. I’m already ready to add a second to my rotation. I got the size M but would order up if you’re unsure on sizing. I often wear this on airplanes now because it is so comfortable for long trips.
