In my continued pursuit of discovery, I love sourcing affordable pieces from Amazon Fashion to supplement my investment pieces. I most often do this in certain categories – dresses, skirts, athleisure and accessories. Those are often the areas of my wardrobe where I look for the most variety and where I may be willing to experiment a bit more with trend-based pieces. But I’ve also found some great pieces that have also become staples in my wardrobe.
I find Amazon Fashion rather overwhelming – so much so that I wrote about Tips for Shopping on Amazon Fashion with ideas for navigating shopping there. I tend to stick to the same brands and I sometimes have as many misses as I have hits in certain months. What makes it to the blog and my Instagram is just the best of the best. I consider it part of my job to share the finds that are worth it – not just good enough.
So in the spirit of that, I thought I’d share today the best of the best that I’ve purchased from Amazon Fashion. The pieces I wear in repeat, have bought in multiple colors or am just really happy with.
My Best Amazon Fashion Purchases to Date
1. The Drop Sweatshirt + Shorts Set
When I say I’ve been living in this set, I mean it! The fit is so good and I love the quality of the fabric. I have a M in both. It comes in a handful of colors, too.
2. Tiered Midi Dress
We sold this dress out in French Blue in many sizes after I first posted it on Stories in 2021 – I have never gotten so many swipe ups! I got the Black, too and wore it so, so much last summer. I plan to again this summer as well. It’s so flattering! I hope they restock it in advance of warmer weather.
3. Goodthreads Sweater
I did a lot of investigating of Amazon Fashion private label brands in 2020 and found some real wins including this sweater that I wore a lot during the Fall in a size M. See it on here. I now own it in two colors.
4. Silk Slip Skirt
I talked about this skirt first here and I loved it so much I got a second color! I wear it in a M.
5. Packable Lightweight Puffer
An affordable, packable lightweight puffer jacket I also own in a hooded version. My go-to for outdoor workouts and hikes.
6. Teddy Coat
This teddy coat quickly became a favorite in my (very full) coat closet and an excellent, affordable option. It comes in a few different colors and is under $60. You may want to size down for a less oversized fit.
7. Waffle Knit Lounge Set
My WFH MVP are these waffle knit lounge sets. I also own the long sleeve version that I wear as pajamas and then I also live in the Waffle Shorts Lounge Set for summer days spent at my desk. I wear a M in each. The quality is really great and they’ve held up with plenty of washes.
8. NY Baseball Cap
I had been looking for a black NY baseball cap for ages so I was so glad to finally discover this one! The best part? It’s adjustable so it fits my large head! This brand has loads of options when it comes to colors and embroidery.
9. Sherpa Fleece
I wear my other Amazon Sherpa Fleeces so much so when I saw this new update with a cute pocket for a more sporty vibe, I nabbed it right away. I wear a Medium.
10. Slip
I hadn’t bought a slip in years but after my two nap dress purchases as well as some white linen pieces for the season, I needed a new one. I ordered a bunch from Amazon and this one was the winner. I got the M.
11. Soft Touch Crewneck
This sweater got so much wear I bought the hoodie version, too. Great for layering and I just love this oatmeal-esque color. It comes in loads of colors though. I sized up in both to a size Large.
12. True & Co Women’s True Body Lift V Neck Racerback Wireless Bra
I live in my True & Co bras most work from home and travel days. I have a variety of styles but this one is my most worn. I own it in several colors.
If you’re not familiar with True & Co, they make crazy comfortable bras out of smooth, buttery fabric that is super soft (they typically use a 77% Nylon, 23% Elastane blend) and their DD and above styles actually provide support despite being largely pull on. For larger sizes they use a heavier weight of their signature soft material so you’ll get increased support.
13. Le Specs Sunglasses
These sunglasses were a bestseller in 2020 after I wore them so much – and no wonder. They look designer but are only $59! A favorite pair still two years later.
13. Tkees Flip Flops
I finally bought these flip flops I keep hearing so many things about. They come in a lot of colors and are super comfy! I needed a pair of flip flops I could throw on for the beach and these fit the bill. More of my favorite shoes.
And it didn’t fit in the collage but it’s worth noting,
Men’s Fleece Sweatshirt
I love this sweatshirt with the coziest fleece lining so much that I bought it in two colors! The white/navy stripe is my favorite. I recommend sizing down for a more fitted silhouette or take your normal size for a more oversized fit.
