It’s been several months since I’ve shared an edition of Things I’ve Bought and Loved so I’m excited to share today what I’ve been buying lately. As always, you’ll find a mix of investment pieces and versatile affordable buys. I hope my recent shopping will inspire some Spring purhcases you’re excited about!
Things I’ve Bought and Loved Recently – Spring Edition
Sezane Lace Top
This is one of my best finds in recent memory. I love this feminine lace top that looks so great paired with jeans. I sized up to an 8.
Sezane Short Sleeve Sweater
A short sleeve take on my favorite sweater. I sized down to a size small.
Sezane Blazer
I saw this blazer on a blogger I follow in France and knew I had to get it. It’s equal parts crisp and drapey so it’s not overly formal which I love. And it’s the absolute perfect caramel color. I can’t wait to wear it in France next time I go. I bought it in a 6.
Sezane Trench Coat
This timeless piece is so beautifully made. I love the slightly longer length and the beautiful camel color. The detailing on it makes it updated and fresh.
J.Crew Icon Trench*
Add another trench to my closet!? Yep! When I saw J.Crew brought back their Icon trench I wanted it pronto. And it’s perfect- truly iconic and such a classic style and fit. I am wearing a size 6.
Agolde Parker Long Shorts
I finally got my act together to order these shorts before they sold out this season! My size has been sold out the past two summers so I got them as soon as I spotted them. In the interim I had tried several other pairs of shorts by the brand and they were never just right so I’m glad I waited and grabbed these as they are perfect. I went with a size 28.
Agolde Riley Jeans
I love these high waisted, extra tight (lol) straight jeans by my favorite denim brand. I sized down to a very snug 27.
Madewell Denim Jacket
My Madewell denim jacket was several years old and had served me well so I replaced it with the newest version from the brand. It’s perfect. Wearing a M. You can also buy it on Amazon.
AYR Doublestar Denim Jacket
Speaking of denim jackets, I’d heard this oversized one by AYR had a cult following so I decided to try it and I have to say I love it. It’s perfect to pair with leggings for an off-duty look because it’s rather oversized and long. It’s different than all my other denim jackets that pair over dresses and with skirts. I sized down to a Small.
Jenni Kayne Everyday Sweater
When Jenni Kayne recently did a 25% off sale I went a bit wild – I had been keen to try the brand after hearing so many good things but the prices are steep. Well, I get the hype now. They’ve been added to my list of brands that are worth the investment for staple pieces you’ll wear again and again. This Everyday Sweater is the perfect piece to throw on and the weight makes it perfect year-round. I’ve only owned it for a few weeks but I find myself reaching for it 1-2x per week, every week. I took my usual size M.
Jenni Kayne Cashmere Fisherman Sweater
This cashmere sweater is perfect. The fit is great, the cashmere is so utterly soft and it’s so my style. A staple you’ll never tire of wearing. I already know that the next time there’s a sale, I’ll be buying another color. I took my usual size M.
Hermes Oran Sandal
Bit the bullet on these from my Spring Wish List to live in Spring and Summer.
The Drop Polka Dot Silk Skirt
How cute is this slip skirt with polka dots? It would pair well with sandals or like I styled here with my favorite sneakers.
Everlane Rain Coat*
My new go-to on extra rainy days thanks to its longer fit and hood. Wearing a size Small.
Lake Pajamas
I’ve been a Lake customer for years and wanted to get a new pair for Spring. This “sea glass” color is even prettier in person. I wear a M.
Le Specs Half Moon Sunglasses
I can’t stop wearing these affordable sunnies! I’d tried a few styles from the brand before finding one that I loved as much as these. I truly can’t believe they are only $60!
& Other Stories Puff Sleeve Midi Dress*
This dress had my name all over it and I love it! I sized up to an 8.
Alison Lou Croissant Earring
This croissant had my name all over it. I am not one for shtick kind of stuff but this was too good to not have on my ear.
Kinn Ring
This beautiful dome ring hasn’t left my finger since I got it. It’s the perfect investment piece to wear every single day.
Kinn Pearl Earrings
The dainty pearl earrings of my dreams! I adore them and have had them in my ears ever since they arrived.
Everlane Cheeky Jeans in White*
I have these jeans in another color so was excited they came out with them in white. I found them a bit longer than I wanted though this time so I chopped off 2 inches from the bottom to have a raw hem and be a better length on my 5’5″ frame. I take my usual size 28 in Everlane jeans. See also: my full Everlane Denim Guide.
Amazon Utility Jacket
The perfect lightweight jacket for Spring and Summer days. I took a size 6.
J.Crew Tiered Midi Dress
How cute is this dress? Perfect to throw on and go and I love that it goes as well with sneakers as it does espadrilles or sandals. I now have it in Black and in White! I have the M but could probably have done the Small as it does run big. Even more of this dress was in this recent post.
J.Crew Button Fly Jeans
I love this pair of J.Crew jeans so I nabbed the new wash as soon as I saw them on their site! I sized down to a size 27.
Waffle Knit Lounge Set
This is such a good Amazon Fashion find! It’s my official WFH wardrobe for warm days. The quality is really good and I love the fit of the size M I got. Even more of my recent Amazon Fashion purchases.
Ann Taylor Stripe Sweater and Straw Tote
I just adore this Spring-y stripes sweater! Wearing a M. Also the tote! I’ll be using this so much.
Ann Taylor Fringe Tweed Jacket
And I can’t forget this darling red jacket. The fit is so great and the color just makes me happy. Wearing a size 4.
And this blazer I’ve worn three times already since I got it – can’t recommend it enough. Wearing a size 6.
. . .
Have you bought anything you’ve loved lately!?

curious about your thoughts on the comfort of the Oran, especially as an all-day city walking sandal.
I’ve worn them twice for walks and definitely am breaking them in! But frankly my feet have barely seen any shoes for a period of time outside of sneakers so I think I’ll need to break in anything this season! I imagine once they are broken in and molded they’ll be a dream.
Love your picks! Where is your white/clear bag in the first couple of pictures from?
Here you go! https://rstyle.me/+hlzTmLbNi7wr2dd_Kx6c3A It’s the best little spring/summer bag! I have it in black, too!
