In a few days I will head back to my favorite city in the world. It’s my annual October sojourn to scout for En Route to Rêverie, take meetings with key partners of mine and see friends and enjoy the city in peak autumn.
As I always enjoy sharing my packing lists with you all so today I’m sharing what’s packed in my suitcases for this late October and early November trip.
What I’m Packing for Paris in the Fall
This trip I have a lot planned as I continue to expand my En Route to Rêverie Rêverie in Paris recommendations. It’s a priority for me to keep all of our recommendations for clients fresh, up to date and personally vetted.
Packing for these longer stays in no small feat as you can imagine. But it is made easier due to the fact that I bring a lot of the same staples with me every trip to Paris regardless of the season so pieces will look familiar from other Paris Packing Lists I’ve shared in the past.
And if you are curious on how to put together outfits featuring the pieces seen here – check out my What to Wear in Paris in the Fall post.
Here’s everything I’m planning to bring for the two weeks.
1. Sezane Clyde Trench
I am forgoing bringing my usual go-to Sezane Scott Trench and instead opting for this more relaxed style I recently bought. I sized down to a 4 as it runs quite big.

2. Wide Leg Jeans
This Fall I’m packing a favorite pair of on-trend wide leg crop jeans to pair with booties and sneakers and my ballet flats. You can see them on me in my My Favorite and Most-Worn Jeans guide.
I always opt for an easy, ankle length jean when going to Paris because they end up working with the majority of shoe styles I pack for the Fall – loafers, sneakers, ballet flats and even ankle boots.
3. Striped Knit
This LaLigne sweater I own in four colors now. It is my most worn striped sweater. I am also bringing the solid this trip as it is so good for layering.
I sized up to a L. I love the extra long sleeves on it.
Code MEGHAND10 for 10% off your first La Ligne order.
I’m also bringing this striped knit I recently got (size L) and haven’t been able to stop wearing.

4. Button Down
I always bring a button down as a French staple building block while overseas and this one by AYR has an oversized fit making it great on its own or layered.
I wear it in a size M.
5. Silk Tank
For warmer days, a silk tank is perfect for layering under my packed blazers and little tweed jackets. This one is washable and packs up to basically nothing. I always, always travel with it. Size M.
6. Leather Jacket
Fall in Paris is quintessential leather jacket weather. On cooler days I’ll layer mine under my trench coat and it’s my go-to topper for evenings out in Paris, too. I’m going to bring this more feminine one this trip, too.

7. Travel Umbrella
I know it’ll rain several days when I am overseas so I will never be without my favorite, trusty travel umbrella.
8. Adidas Sneakers
Normally I opt to bring my go-to clean, white sneakers but this year I was craving a sportier vibe for some of the pieces I am packing so I’m bringing this pair instead.
Will also bring my black converse for rainy weather.

9. Belt
A simple yet striking belt I wear with jeans and trousers.
10. Ballet Flats
I’ve never gone to France without my favorite ballet flats. They are great for traversing all over the city and the two tone makes them easy to style a multitude of ways. This pair is similar.
11. Little Black Bag
I always have a little black bag with me to carry throughout the day and for every evening out. I am bringing a few bags but this Celine Triomphe from my bag collection is great for day or night.
I also just picked up this cute bag for evening looks this trip.

12. Tweed Jacket
I love this jacket with jeans, over dresses or paired with skirts. It’s so beautiful in person that I now own three colors. I own the size 2.

13. Loafers
A timeless staple perfect for clocking a lot of miles walking around the streets of Paris in autumn.
14. Sweater Tee
A great building block for a variety of looks. I sized up in this style to a L.
I am also bringing this one. And may bring this one, too. I always size up in a style like this so that the fabric doesn’t pull across my chest.
15. Inez Paz Boots
Another favorite pair of Fall booties. I’ve walked 20K steps in this pair. They are also the perfect neutral that pairs well with nearly everything I usually pack for Paris.
You can use code MEGHAN15 for 15% off your purchase of Inez shoes.

16. Silk Tank
This tank falls beautifully at the neckline to make it a bit more evening ready. I love pairing it under a black blazer or a leather jacket.
17. Sunglasses
Of course no packing list is complete without bringing along a few pair of my favorite sunglasses.
18. Straight Leg Jeans
I always bring at least one pair of straight leg jeans and in autumn often one in a gray wash. I wear a size 28.
I’m also bringing this full length straight leg jean pair that’s on trend and looks great with ballet flats and sneakers (size 29).

Never without this pair of timeless Chanel heeled slingbacks. Great for clocking miles with evening looks. Shop pre-loved styles here.
4. Cropped Crewneck Sweater
I wear this sweater in a M. I own it in several colors but am bringing the camel color this trip. Code MEGHAND10 for 10% off your first La Ligne order.
I’m also bringing this gorgeous chocolate brown cashmere sweater (size L) that I got this season and absolutely love.
5. Knee High Leather Boots
Just picked up this pair and can’t wait to wear them with skirts and dresses.

6. Common Project Sneakers
How good are this new style? I love the sporty yet streamlined silhouette. I recommend sizing down.
7. Bottega Venetta Bag
The newest bag in my bag collection will make its debut this trip. I love that you can wear it four different ways which makes it perfect for trips.
8. Jewelry
I always pack a small travel case of my go-to jewelry from brands like the affordable Shashi (who makes these beautiful earrings) and my go-to Dorsey favorites, too like the Bennington 3-Prong Riviere necklace, the James Bezel Riviere bracelet, the Lenora Bracelet and the Curve Necklace.
9. Ball Cap
The perfect sporty element for casual days. This year I’ll be bringing this cheeky one as it just restocked for holiday gifting!
10. Manolo Maysale Kitten Heels
Another go-to pair of heels for me that are easy to trot around in Paris. I love how they look with jeans in particular.
11. Cropped Trench
I think a black cropped trench is such a cute take on the versatile staple.
12. Cashmere Crewneck
The perfect versatile piece to mix and match. I sized up to a L.
13. Satin Pants
A fun, on trend and easy, not to mention oh-so-comfortable trouser option for nights out in Paris. I’m brining both this pair in chocolate and this pair in black satin.

14. Trousers
I am never without a versatile pair of trousers when in Paris – no matter the time of year. Dress them up or dress them down. Wear them with a heel, a sneaker, a ballet flat. I recommend sizing up in this particular pair.
. . .
A bit more making it into my suitcase…
Leather Ankle Boots
These are such a gorgeously made pair of boots I can walk loads in.
Pinstripe Blazer
I love the soft fabric this pinstripe blazer is in and the preppy factor is perfect for autumn.
Faux Leather Trousers
I look forward to any opportunity to wear these very chic trousers. I own size 8.
Slip Skirt
Going to bring this pair of satin shorts, too to style with tights and an oversized blazer.
Satin Shorts
And, similarly, I love the idea of pairing these with tights, boots + an oversized blazer.
Crewneck T-Shirt
Ideal as a base layer for Fall under blazers, jackets and cardigans I always bring crewneck t-shirts in a couple of colors. The MM.LaFleur Leslie tee is my favorite – I own it in multiple colors and always bring the ivory and black on trips to Paris.
This trip I’ll also be bringing this more casual tee to layer under sweaters and then this ribbed tee I absolutely love.
Mini Skirt
This little gingham mini will be so cute paired with knee high boots.
Classic Black Blazer
A Paris staple for me. This blazer is easy to dress up or dress down and packs well. I have the size 6.
Striped Tee
No trip to Paris is complete without a striped tee. I reach for long sleeve ones when I go in the Fall. I own this one in a size L.
Tights
For chillier days I’ll be bringing my go-to tights.
Silk Scarves
I always bring a variety of silk scarves and twillies to dress up my bags throughout my trips. Longchamp has so many worth browsing.

Meghan, have a wonderful trip to Paris! I love the feel of Eberjey pajamas, but get so annoyed that they are hand wash and line dry only – and with the humidity on the East Coast for the past several months, nothing dries in less than five days! And then it starts to smell. Does that ever annoy you?
Truthfully I don’t follow those rules so they aren’t as pretty as they used to be but I understand what you’re saying! I can’t wait for this crazy humidity to be behind us!
