It’s safe to say my blazer collection won’t be being worn to meetings in the forthcoming months nor will they be being dressed up with heels but given my love of blazers, there was no way I was sidelining them for the season! My solution? Making them work in a more sporty-chic way.
A New Favorite Casual Look for this Fall
I’ve tried this look before but never been able to find a hoodie thin enough that didn’t make me look like I was adding weight to my frame. Enter: this Old Navy hoodie. The perfect piece for layering under my many favorite plaid blazers.
I’ve been really impressed with Old Navy’s offerings in the past two years. I’ve found pajamas and loungewear I love and even jeans so good I nearly sold them out so many of you bought them! (I’ll be sure to share if they get restocked!) Sister brand Gap also has had some great things this season so I’ve included links below for the pieces I am loving right now by both Old Navy & Gap.
I also love when hoodies are styled under car coats like this one so I know I’ll be wearing this style of layering well into Winter.
Hop you guys have a great Monday!

This is adorable. I’ve never felt like I could pull of layering the hoodie, but you make it look effortless.
Thank you so much, Katie! Glad you found the styling inspiring!
