I have transformed my makeup collection to be nearly entirely clean so that I am using less toxic products regularly and blush is definitely a desert island product for me. On some days I just apply mascara and blush and call it a day as those two products make me feel most awake and put together.
Lots of blushes can have harmful ingredients like talc, parabens, sulfates and persatives and I don’t want to be using formulas with those day in and day out. If you can, I recommend switching over to cleaner blushes and I have tried a lot.
Today I’m sharing my favorites – from cream blushes to powder blushes – these are natural flushes and high performances and nearly all come in a variety of shades that’ll suit all skin tones. You’ll get a healthy glow on your skin with each of these and many also feature ingredients that are beneficial for your skin with repeat wear.

Ilia Beauty Color Haze Multi-Use Pigment, $32
These little portable tubes are a multi-functional cream pigment that you can use on your cheeks or on your lips as a stain making it great to travel with thanks to it doing double duty. It’s unique as it stays dewy on cheeks and transforms to a matte-finish on the lips. I love the formula – it’s soft and whipped and lightweight and blends out really well.
Available in five shades. Shades Before Today, Temptation and Waking Up are all in my rotation!

Kjaer Weis Cream Blush, $32-$56
This cream blush blends so beautifully and has a really great dewy finish for summer. Luxurious, certified organic ingredients like Castor seed oil, Beeswax and Jojoba Seed Oil nourish and moisturize making this great for dry skin in particular. I particularly love that this blush is refillable! In the gorgeous mirror case the blush retails for $56 and refills are $32 a piece.
My favorite shade is Sun Touched but I also have Blossoming. What I like about Sun Touched is a blush highlighter hybrid thanks to just a bit of glow in the shade.
Rituel de Fille Inner Glow Creme Pigment, $29
This sleek compact holds a radiant flush and has been designed to be used for cheek, eye and lip. You’ll get a dewy matte hybrid finish – I recommend using your fingers to apply it for the best application.
Available in nine shades – I have shade Love Sick which is a deeper shade that I wear in Fall & Winter.
RMS Pressed Blush, $24
My #1 powder blush. Shade Lost Angel is the best dupe for NARS Orgasm and gives you the best, most luminous glow. This one is good for all skin types including dry, mature, sensitive, blemish-prone, combination and normal.
I love to layer it over my Westman Atelier cream blushes (see below) which is a trick I learned from a makeup artist.

Merit Beauty Flush Balm, $28
This cream tint melts into skin for a lit-from-within color that stays flush all day. It features microfine pigment powders that deposit just the right touch of color. It doesn’t clog pores and has Vitamin E so your skin is conditioned while wearing it.
Available in five shades – I have the berry shade Cheeky.

Westman Atelier Baby Cheeks Blush, $48
My #1 cream blush. It’s creamy and dries matte for a really natural looking flush. You can also use it on your lips and lids if you’re inclined! I love the hydrating finish thanks to ingredients like Berryflux Vita: Hydration, Organic Jojoba Seed Oil and Vitis Vita Grape Extract.
And I also love the packaging with the magnetic lid- it’s so chic.
Baby Cheeks is available in six shades – I have shades Petal (a dusty nude rose) and Chouette (a peachy pink).

This is a sleekly packaged lip and cheek duo. I’ve found it to be really good long-wear and holds up in heat. Adventurous? Apply this as a cream eyeshadow for the ultimate multitasker. This one is also vegan and gluten free.
Available in four shades – I have shade b.real which is pinky peach.
