The Best Clean Beauty Blushes

Blush is definitely a desert island product for me. On some days I just apply mascara and blush and call it a day as those two products make me feel most awake and put together. I’ve tried blushes from so many makeup brands as I work on in-depth beauty brand reviews over the years.

Best Clean Beauty Blushes

Lots of blushes can have harmful ingredients like talc, parabens, sulfates and preservatives and I personally don’t want to be using formulas with those day in and day out. If you can, I recommend switching over to cleaner blushes that fall in the green beauty trend. I have tried a lot and this post is filled with those I think are the best.

Today I’m sharing my favorites – from cream blushes to powder blushes – these are natural flushes and high performances and nearly all come in a variety of shades that’ll suit all skin tones. You’ll get a healthy glow on your skin with each of these and many also feature ingredients that are beneficial for your skin with repeat wear.

Ilia Beauty Color Haze Multi-Use Pigment, $32

These little portable tubes are a multi-functional cream pigment that you can use on your cheeks or on your lips as a stain making it great to travel with thanks to it doing double duty. It’s unique as it stays dewy on cheeks and transforms to a matte-finish on the lips. I love the formula – it’s soft and whipped and lightweight and blends out really well.

Available in five shades. Shades Before Today, Temptation and Waking Up are all in my rotation!

Kjaer Weis Cream Blush, $32-$56

This cream blush blends so beautifully and has a really great dewy finish for summer. Luxurious, certified organic ingredients like Castor seed oil, Beeswax and Jojoba Seed Oil nourish and moisturize making this great for dry skin in particular. I particularly love that this blush is refillable! In the gorgeous mirror case the blush retails for $56 and refills are $32 a piece.

My favorite shade is Sun Touched but I also have Blossoming. What I like about Sun Touched is a blush highlighter hybrid thanks to just a bit of glow in the shade.

Saie Dew Blush, $25

This cream blush goes on more like a stain – and a little goes a long way! You really only need one dot per check otherwise it’s easy to go clown-like real fast. I got the shades Rosy and Peachy and really like the natural flush this blush gives you without a lot of work.

Saie Glow Sculpt Multi-Use Cream Highlighting Blush, $32

One of those great mult-taskers I love in summer the most. Part blush, part highlighter and great for when you don’t want to put much effort in. If you like a lot of glow in your blush, definitely try this one.

Available in five shades.

Rituel de Fille Inner Glow Creme Pigment, $32

This sleek compact holds a radiant flush and has been designed to be used for cheek, eye and lip. You’ll get a dewy matte hybrid finish – I recommend using your fingers to apply it for the best application.

Available in nine shades – I have shade Love Sick which is a deeper shade that I wear in Fall & Winter.

RMS ReDimension Hydra Powder Blush, $35

This multi-dimensional powder blush provides a silky smooth and luminous finish. It uses a sugar-derived wet powder technology to give a long-lasting finish. It glides on effortlessly and is buildable. The formula features buriti and organic jojoba oil that nourish and smooth the skin as you wear it. I also like that the mirrored compact is 75% PCR and refillable.

It comes in a lot of shades and I own shade Hanky Panky which is a pretty berry shade hue with a bit of glow that I particularly like wearing in Fall and Winter.

I love to layer it over my Westman Atelier cream blushes (see below) which is a trick I learned from a makeup artist.

Merit Beauty Flush Balm, $30

This cream tint melts into skin for a lit-from-within color that stays flush all day.  It features microfine pigment powders that deposit just the right touch of color. It doesn’t clog pores and has Vitamin E so your skin is conditioned while wearing it.

Available in five shades – I have several and I am obsessed with Beverly Hills. Stockholm is a go-to in summer in particular. This natural blush is so, so good.

Victoria Beckham Cheeky Posh Blush, $42

The product that started me on the brand and remains a favorite years later: the Cheeky Posh Blush. It smooths skin and has a pretty matte finish to it. The buildable formula allows for everything from a barely-there, no-makeup makeup to a statement pop of color and it comes in a super chic bullet package.

The silicone-free colors are water-resistant and long-wearing.

There are seven shades available and I have shade Major. I will likely buy another shade soon!

Westman Atelier Baby Cheeks Blush, $48

My #1 cream blush. It’s creamy and dries matte for a really natural looking flush. You can also use it on your lips and lids if you’re inclined! I love the hydrating finish thanks to ingredients like Berryflux Vita: Hydration, Organic Jojoba Seed Oil and  Vitis Vita Grape Extract.

And I also love the packaging with the magnetic lid- it’s so chic.

Baby Cheeks is available in six shades – I have shades Petal (a dusty nude rose) and Chouette (a peachy pink).

Tower 28 BeachPlease Luminous Tinted Balm, $20

This was the first Tower28 product I tried and it is a great multi-tasker. You can use it as a tinted balm on both your cheeks and lips but I use it primarily as a good cream blush. It was made with a lot of skin-forward ingredients so it gives your skin a really nice, healthy-looking glow.

This was designed to be good for all skin types including dry, mature, sensitive, blemish-prone, combination and normal.

BeachPlease Luminous Tinted Balm in eight shades and I have shade Magic Hour which gives a sun-kissed rosy natural glow. At $20 each you can grab more than one shade and keep one in your bag at all times for easy touchups.

LYS Beauty Higher Standard Satin Matte Cream Blush, $18

This is a great high pigment, ultra-creamy blush for a good pop of color and you can’t beat the price. It blends out seamlessly onto the skin for a natural looking flush with staying power.

Available in six shades. I have shade Self Love and already can’t wait to pick up shade Humble.
