The Return of Cardigan Weather

The Best Cardigans Out Now

I absolutely live for the sliver of weather where it is warm enough to just wear a cardigan with no coat and also still drink iced coffee. Truly it brings me so much joy and I am so glad this weather has arrived.

The Best Cardigans Out Now

I’m pretty particular about the cardigans I buy. I don’t like too light or heavy of a fabric or too open of a weave. I’m not a fan of curved hems or droopy pockets either. So yes, I’m picky when it comes to cardigans. But that being said I’ve gotten and seen so many good ones this season already! I’m particularly into a hooded cardigan this year but overall I just love throwing on a tee with a jean or jogger and a cardigan – more this year than ever before.

Before are my picks for the best cardigans out now – none of which are over $100!

A few highlights:

  • I personally always grab the cardigans from Mango I like when they land as they always sell out. This year I bought this one and this one (size S) and they are both so good! I absolutely love that they have hoods. And I also really love this ribbed one, too.
  • It took me buying a few sizes for this sweater coat but I finally got it right with the XS.
  • I love alpaca cardigans like this one that look as good buttoned up as they do open over tees.
  • I love this cardigan that could be paired with booties or just worn over a great lounge set while at home on a colder day. Also think it’s perfect for a morning walk.
  • I think the green of this cardigan is so gorgeous.
  • This Madewell cardigan is the 2020 take on the one I own and wore here.
  • This cardigan reminds me a lot of the one I wore here.
  • This Madewell cardigan I own in two colors & it’s my favorite lounge and travel cardigan. Seen here.

Target Universal Thread Cardigan (Small- Sizes from XS-4X) // Velvet Jeans (size 28 – I also have them in white) // Lou & Grey Tee // Staud Bag // Inez Boots (so comfortable! Last seen here)

Oooooh, I just bought the same one you have on. Building my work at home wardrobe as my company is planning for remote until June and I don’t have a ton of weekend clothes. I wore the same few things over and over last spring. Also, I’m trying intermittent fasting. I’ve considered it for a while with many reservations on many levels but thought I would try for a week to see how it goes. I am finding that I maybe really didn’t need breakfast after all. I’m not a night snacker but see how IF can help with that quite a bit.
