Paris Eiffel Tower View

Happy Friday! I flew back home from Paris at the onset of the week to tackle a long to-do list and a lot of projects I was inspired to begin following my recent trip in France. My time in Paris was heavenly. The weather was perfect – it felt like summer! And I tried out two great hotels, both very different, an amazing new restaurant, had two great meetings with vendors of mine and just had a really relaxing time overall with some shopping, facials and lots of long walks. The city was in bloom, the energy was electric with the good weather and I was so pleased to run into several followers who were in town to see Taylor Swift. Needless to say I flew home with a very full heart.

I’m home in NYC for a couple of weeks which I know will fill my cup and it will be time I’m looking forward to having to reset and get back into my favorite routines. But first up this weekend? The new season of Bridgerton of course!

I hope you enjoy this week’s edit and have a wonderful weekend!

WHAT I DID THIS WEEK:

READ + LOOK + LOVE:

SHOP AND LOOK LOVINGLY:

  • Some new linen pieces to love in my wardrobe are these pants (size M) and this button down (sized up to a L to be able to wear as a coverup, too). I was thrilled to create this video with Faherty the other week and truly adore these linen pieces I got from the brand. My code 20MEGHAN will get you 20% off these pieces through the weekend! I wore both throughout my recent trip in the South of France.
  • Get your feet sandal ready with this heel cream I swear by. Apply it before bed, slip on socks and in 2-3 days your feet will be much improved – trust. (You can use on dry elbows, too!)
  • I love, love the Crown Affair Finishing Gel. I used it nearly every day of my recent trip. It is perfect for my go-to slick backed buns and it also helps fight flyaways and frizz with no crusty or crinkly texture to it whatsoever. Highly recommend this as we head into summer hair style season!
  • If you need a pretty gold heel for any weddings this season, I like this pair I spotted on J.Crew Factory’s site. (Related: Dresses for Wedding Guests). Also this beach tote is darling from the brand and I like this chic crochet coverup, too.
  • I think this dress I wore in Paris last month might just be one of the most flattering. I sized up to a L due to my chest but otherwise I think you could take your usual size. The fabric, the structure, the details – it is just so good. And while I have the black (of course), it comes in several other colors, too.
  • Has anyone tried Spanx’s swim? I am intrigued to try this top + coordinating bottom as the fit and fabric looks super nice!
  • Ann Taylor’s newest arrivals are so good. I am loving these trousers, this dress and this dress, these earrings, this darling cropped navy jacket, this linen midi skirt and this great shift dress
  • Aurate makes some of my favorite jewelry pieces that I own and I just saw they shared that Meghan Markle was seen once again wearing this beautiful gold collar they make that she was first seen wearing in 2014. Always a great sign to invest in pieces that age so well.
  • I have fallen completely in love with the Jones Road Beauty Gel Bronzer. It gives a compliment-worthy glow and a little goes a long way. I have gotten compliments every time I have worn it. Apply it to wherever sun would hit your face and I highly recommend using *less* than you think you need and then building it up. I apply mine using my forever favorite Merit Brush. I use the lightest shade.
  • My Gap denim jacket has been restocked! I’m wearing it in size M in this video. If in between sizes, size up. Also from Gap, this dress is now in my cart. So me, right?
