Happy Friday! It is a holiday weekend here in the States and I for once am staying put! I actually love holiday weekends here in NYC where most everyone seemingly leaves the city. You can get great reservations, enjoy being a tourist in your own city and just *be*. I have a few plans with friends to catch up but otherwise I am looking forward to continuing my summer reading kick and hopefully spending a good potion of the weekend outdoors.

- I fully refreshed the Meghan’s Closet section of The Shop! My latest purchases are all included and all out of stock items have been removed.
- I devoured the new Christina Lauren book The Paradise Problem. I loved it! A great summer read. Related: Books Perfect for Summer.

- Nordstrom’s Fun in the Sun Shop right now has so many good vacation-ready picks. These pull on linen shorts, this chic jumpsuit (I always size up in this brand), this straw hat I own and wear often in the summer, this cute one piece swimsuit, this darling dress (I size up in this brand), this practical tote, these cute sandals, this great looking travel cosmetics case, these chic sandals, this versatile dress and this easy breezy dress.
- Also from Nordstrom, I just got this swimsuit. Simple, classic and flattering. I sized up to an 8.
- My current favorite jeans are my Agolde Parkers. If you have and like the Riley Crop, you’ll likely also love this pair. I prefer how they look on me vs. the model on their site which has them look a little odd if you ask me. I took my smaller size of 27 in this pair.
- I don’t know what it is about the change of seasons that always makes me crave a new pair of pajamas but I just picked up this darling top + matching bottoms (size M) from my current favorite brand Petite Plume who has so many cute new styles right now.
- Alex Mill’s new arrivals for Summer are so good! I am loving this vest and the dress take on it, this knit dress, these jeans, these denim shorts, this classic blazer and this slip dress in the chocolate brown that I immediately added to my wish list.
- Hotel Lobby Candle just launched their Hamptons candle and was kind enough to send it to me and it is so fresh, so summer-y and just perfect for this time of year and all the summer nostalgia that comes with it.
- Cute bags perfect for summer.
BEST OF MDW HOLIDAY SALES:
- My favorite (adjustable!) pillows are on sale. They only promo rarely and this weekend are running their Buy More; Save More sale so if you need a pillow refresh in any room in your home, now is the perfect time.
- I typically buy Jenni Kayne on sale and this weekend they are doing 20% off a lot of my favorite styles. Top favorites of mine include this dress I own in three colors (size L – just seen on here), this chic cardigan (runs very small – I own the XL), my favorite cashmere sweater (size M), this cardigan that is perfect for topping over summer dresses or styling over your shoulders (I sized up to an XL – it is very small) and this slinky slip dress I own in Black; M.
- J.Crew is running 40% off sitewide (prices as marked!) & 50% off select summer styles. You can shop my favorites from the brand right now in this post and don’t miss one of my favorite blazers majorly marked down, too! I wear the size 6 or 8 (I own both).
- Select sizes of the Samsung Frame TV are on sale this weekend! I absolutely love mine.
- Sarah Flint is doing an extra 30% off select styles and I spotted a few of my go-to sandals including this pair I own in three colors and this pair, too.
- I just got this beautiful belt from a new-to-me brand, Aureum and they are now doing 25% off sitewide this weekend. In addition to their beautiful belts they also have jewelry and eyewear, too. I got the size M/L in the belt to wear with trousers.
- One of my best ever Amazon finds is this knit dress (I wear the L) and it is now marked down.
- Everlane has 25% off sitewide and some really cute new pieces for summer. I am eyeing this crochet dress, this linen blazer, these cute crochet shorts that would be darling paired over a swimsuit, this chic dress, this midi skirt, these versatile pull on linen pants and this summery knit.
- Abercrombie has 20% off items including this outfit I wore in Cannes the other week!
- All my all-time favorite bedding of the last decade from Brooklinen is 20% off! You can shop the specific items I own and love via this post.
- Spotted a lot of APC’s beautiful bags on sale.
- The Faherty linen blouse I’ve been wearing non-stop is now on 25% off!
