This was a week of real highs and real lows. I celebrated some major milestones and shed a few tears over loss and then came down mid-week with a summer cold that had me out for the count. I ended up missing out on dinner with friends and the US Open as a result which was a major bummer. This year has been one of major resolve for me. Of working on myself and trying to be patient and accept I won’t know why many things in life occur the way they do…

As we head into a long weekend here in the U.S., I’ll be continuing to rest to get healthy again, nesting at home and prepping for my return to Paris next week. My head and my heart are so ready to be back. I’ll be sharing the reason for my trip and what’s on my agenda with my Paris, Perfected newsletter subscribers.

SHOP AND LOOK LONGINGLY:

• I have a jacket (size S) I really love from Varley so I was excited to see what newness they had for Fall. I’m loving this jacket and this jacket (that chocolate color!!) and this fleece in particular.
• I have found some very good pieces from Target’s line A New Day and their latest Fall collection has so many good items! I am loving this dress (looks like Reformation!), this bodysuit, these pants, these boots that look designer, these earrings and this pair, too, this slip dress (that cognac color! Bought it in a size M and it is great) and this half zip.
• & Other Stories coming in hot with great knitwear! Loving this style, this one, this one, this one (on my list to grab!) and I own and love this one.
• This looks like a great little dress for under $200 if you have a special occasion in the coming months.
• Alex Mill just released one of my favorite thick knits in black – at last! I have this sweater in a striped version in size M. I love that you can wear it closed or open!
• I’m very into Ecru bags this season and love that this Madewell bucket bag looks designer but is under $200.
• My darling Target ottoman I use for my vanity is back in stock!
• This Gap turtleneck was one of my best Fall finds last year. I recommend sizing down! I found some other chic finds from Gap while browsing, too including this cool vest, this cardigan, this dress and this similar one, too, this blazer, these trousers, this puffer jacket, these faux leather pants that are very similar to the pair I own and love and these cool corduroys. 
• Saie Beauty’s newest lip oil launch looks so good! I can’t wait to try it soon.
