This week was a whirlwind. I had so many meetings and plans that the limited time I had in front of my computer had to be so laser-focused. I’ve been working hard this year to be better at staying on task and getting less distracted. It’s definitely a work in progress but re-setting my morning routine has majorly helped with this. As such I will soon be sharing how I did so with my newsletter community exclusively.
This weekend I am so looking forward to nesting time at home and some much needed self care. I hope you’re able to do a bit of the same! Hard to believe it is already March, right!?
Enjoy this week’s weekly edit & have a wonderful weekend!
The Weekly Edit 3.1
WHAT I DID THIS WEEK:
- I started and finished Dolly Alderton’s newest book Good Material and loved it. I have always found her writing so refreshingly relatable and this novel – set from the perspective of a heartbroken male was so good. Even more books I’ve enjoyed.
- I updated the Noteworthy and Under $100 sections of The Shop!
- Had a great meal at Red Hook Tavern. Their burger is so good!
- I made these Carrot Cake Bars and am honestly actively seeking another excuse to do so because they were so.absolutely.delicious.
- I popped by a preview of what Ann Taylor and LOFT are introducing for Spring and saw a lot of cute pieces! And PSA that Ann Taylor is running a 30% off sale right now and LOFT 40% off!
READ + LOOK + LOVE:
- Wellness spots to bookmark in New York.
- Recipes to make for someone going through a hard time.

SHOP AND LOOK LOVINGLY:
- BIG news! I have at last sourced a Jenni Kayne discount code for you guys to use!! You know by now this is one of my favorite brands to wear and I am so happy you guys can now shop it at 15% off with code MEGHANDONO15. You can shop all my favorites in this blog post that has size detailing and full reviews of each item I own. I updated it yesterday and refreshed the items on my personal wish list, too!
- The Dermstore up to 20% off sale just launched and so many of my favorite products are included! Shop them all in my What to Buy at the Dermstore Sale guide.
- In other great beauty news, Osea Malibu – my favorite body care line – is selling their products at 1996 prices in honor of the Leap Year! You can shop all my favorites at great prices + with an extra 10% off when you use my code WITWHIMSY10.
- J.Crew is doing up to 50% off all women’s swim & up to 50% off warm-weather styles for everyone right now which had me adding some of their new spring arrivals and cute swimsuits to my bag for upcoming trips I have on the horizon!
- I never shop at Dillard’s but was alerted to a cute new collab they launched and ended up buying this and this to try!
- I spotted some great new pieces at Everlane. This skirt has my name all over it, this cardigan, this trench coat, this chic knit midi dress + this one, too and these great $98 jeans I own and love.
- Given how much I adore this dress by Staud I’ve been wearing for two years, I am already eyeing this dress and this dress which they just released for the season that are similar in style.
- Speaking of Staud, if you have a black tie wedding this year please someone buy and wear this!
- Cute new bag alerts! This darling handle-top bag from J.Crew, this similar one from DeMellier that they just launched (went on my wish list immediately!) and this chic suede bucket bag by Veronica Beard.
- COS is always very hit or miss for me but right now I spotted some really chic items in their New Arrivals that feel similar to Khaite/The Row but for a lot less. This linen blend blazer, these earrings, this striped sweater and this similar striped cardigan, this midi dress I immediately bought, this bag, this quilted jacket, this knit t-shirt I also bought, these trousers and these sunglasses.
- Sezane dropped their first Spring collection and it is full of beautifully detailed pieces. I picked up three items and I’ll share them soon!
- These buttery faux leather pants were one of my favorite purchases of last year. Now they are on sale! I own the size 8 and you can see them on in my Fall Date Night Outfit Ideas post.
