Fall is finally here and I am even more ready for it than usual this year after a very hot, very humid and very rainy summer in New York. I’ve been planning what to wear this fall and can’t wait to start reaching for my favorite pieces again.
Fall is my absolute favorite time of year for so many reasons but it is also my favorite season to get dressed. I always love updating this post each year because it reminds me how many items I can’t wait to pull out for styling in the months ahead.
I’m excited to begin pulling out all my Fall favorites that I have rounded up to share with you today. This post is such a labor of love but I hope you’ll bookmark it as you shop this season and find it helpful! Don’t miss subscribing to my Substack, The Noteworthy Edit either where I’m sharing exclusive Fall content, too.
Long time readers will recognize a lot of these pieces and already know that I truly believe in making investments in your wardrobe for classic pieces that you know will be in style for years to come. I’ve given this post a full refresh and included some of my newest purchases in it.
I am so excited to revisit a lot of my favorite items this Fall and hope this post will inspire you as you shop as well! The only reason I can do posts like this with images old and new is because of investing in classic pieces that hold up.
As always, you can shop my closet in The Shop which I regularly update!
And don’t miss this year’s 2025 Fall Essentials PDF! 40+ pages of curated finds for the season.
Things in My Closet I Can’t Wait to Wear This Fall
Jeans and Blazer
The Staud Wally boots I got last Winter and wear so much thanks to being so comfortable. They have a variety of styles and colors of the silhouette for this year, and they’re perfect when thinking about what to wear this fall.
And while out now as I got them last year – these Veronica Beard jeans from the brand that I *love* (size 28).

Now I’m eyeing these mary janes by the brand.
